I see this as a good day to go deer hunting. The Titans have a strong offense and good conditions should make this a track meet for the Titans.  Prediction Oshkosh 27, NCC 10

Congratulations UWO, an incredible first half and overall great game.
UWO found itself in a really tough spot, going up 42-7 early in the third quarter. Maintaining the same level of intensity once in that position has to be one of the hardest things to do in football.

UWO has so many playmakers.
Kasper sure let the voters see why he is a Gagliardi finalist.

Very impressive win for UWO, you beat a top 10 team convincingly. Very impressed with Kaspar and Co.

That's what I was most impressed with. I was skeptical of UWOs chances as a title contender this year because the d has looked vulnerable at times during the regular season. But after the NCC game I'm a bit more worried about my Raiders traveling to Oshkosh.

No surprise to me because there are a lot of areas of life that seem to be passing me by.  While holding an opponent to 167 yards in a half is an OK performance, it strikes me as odd it would be good enough to be cause for concern for a Mount Union fan.

Sorry if this has been covered recently, but what's the tailgating situation at Oshkosh? There's a crew of former Wartburg players and myself considering a trip up, and we consider this to be vital information. Judging by Google Maps, there isn't a lot of designated parking around the stadium, save for the lots surrounding Associated Bank and north of the Zion Lutheran Church. There also appears to be a small, unpaved lot beyond the baseball field's left field fence which, if open, would be a short walk to the visitors' side of the stadium.

As I was entering the stadium yesterday I noticed several tents in the Associated Bank parking lot, so I assume there was some tailgating going on there.  I saw no tents in the parking lot nearest the north end of the stadium.  The south lot (adjoining the softball field) was reserved for persons with disabilities.

FYI, all fans sit in the grandstand on the west (home) side of the field, and there's no designated visitors' section.

While the 167 doesn't jump off the page necessarily by itself, the fact that it was a 35-7 dismantling of the CCIW champ gets my attention.  Mount has played many CCIW teams over the years and they're usually very tough, solid and we'll coached.  Maybe not the most athletic at the skill position, but usually a very quality opponent.  Therefore any thumping of the CCIW champ stands out.

Many people park on the street and it seems the limited lot parking gets full pretty early.  However there is a paved lot (I think it might be a bank) across the street and there is a huge grass field that is used for parking also across the street .  Tailgating is allowed in both of these areas, no problem.  Parking close to the stadium has never been an issue in my experience.

Tailgating is welcome at UWO, regardless of the temperature! Go enjoy it!

If Oshkosh and Mt Union win on Saturday, might just have to go see that semi matchup on the 9th.  That would be a heavyweight bout.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Oh without a doubt!  The 35-7 half-time score was an eye opener for sure! Didn't watch the game but the score suggested NCC was over-matched.

Comments to posts above:
- Early 3rd quarter the score was 42-7. If I recall correctly, UWO was driving again and in the red zone, threatening to go up 49-7. They ended up missing a very short field goal.
UWO in the first 2 1/2 quarters were as dominant as any team I've seen play against a quality opponent.

-Regarding tailgating, we always tailgated in the grass field by the church, directly across the street from entrance to the stadium.

-As they've done many games, UWO again chose to rush 3 and sometimes only 2. It's really interesting to watch as you can see the position-discipline unfold.

-Rankings aren't a big deal to me especially this time of year as the playoffs will ultimately decide. But in a hypothetical situation, if the D3 rankings solely determined home field, I'd argue vehemently UWO deserves #2 over Mt. I'm not saying or predicting UWO would win, but based on how each team performed this season and how they are currently playing, it seems nearly a no-brainer.
