Packers new GM Brian Gutekenust (saying Thompson was easier) has WIAC ties he played for and was an assistant at LaX in the 1990s.

Although I wish him well on a personal level, as a Bears' and UWW fan, I'm thinking he will be on the losing end of both former dynasties.

No, it wouldn't be recognized for NCAA statistics or postseason selection purposes.

No, it would not. The stats would not count and it would not count against UWW's record (although it would count as one of UWW's 10 permissible regular-season contests).

Seems early in the year to settle for a club team. I'd have thought it would be a few months before schools would resort to that.

I'm more worried about the changing of the WIAC guard when it comes to trend setting. Used to be UWO was a UWW wannabe, following the Warhawk lead. Is UWW now following the Titan way, including scheduling?

I guess I was wrong.  A national runner-up on the schedule is huge for UWW.  Who won the championship?  Univ of Phoenix?  or Southern New Hampshire?  I bet they are on UWO's 2018 schedule

If I'm reading the article right, they were national runners up in a Dec. 2016 game. That would have been the season before last. Last year they won 1 game on the field, 2 by forfeit (including a forfeit by LaGrange's JV team?), and lost 5 from what I can tell on the website.
