I'm more worried about the changing of the WIAC guard when it comes to trend setting. Used to be UWO was a UWW wannabe, following the Warhawk lead. Is UWW now following the Titan way, including scheduling?

Starting the season with four games on the road and losing three of them didn't help much.  By the time we'd gotten home some enthusiasm for the season had waned in the student population.  Then to top it off the weather for all four home games was absolute crap.  I'm not sure I'd go in those conditions if my seat wasn't in the press box.  It just wasn't a good year all around.

And yet....  of all the games involving at least one WIAC team, six recorded an attendance of at least 4,000 people and UW-W was one of the teams in five of them.  The only exception was Eau Claire at St. Thomas. The very next week, Stout upset St. Thomas in front of less than 3,000 people. 

And...
DESPITE the unprecedented (in the last couple decades) UW-W slow start
DESPITE UW-0's appearance in the 2016 Stagg Bowl
DESPITE the weather drag on UW-W home games.
DESPITE the fact UW-W had FOUR home games and UW-0 had NINE
DESPITE the fact that UW-W played 10 games and UW-0 played 13

UW-0 played in front of 26,491 fans and UW-W played in front of 33,495 in 2017!

If a high school prospect is weighing a decision between UW-0 and UW-W, hopefully they took the opportunity to visit both on game day. There is no comparison.

On the last game of the season, during a rare season UW-W did not make the playoffs, the Warhawks drew over 4,000 fans against a 1-8 Eau Claire team (0-6 in conference heading in). That is more fans than UW-0 drew in ANY game all season.  Oh, there is one exception to that. When the Titans hosted...UW-W. The week before Eau Claire traveled to Whitewater, they traveled to Oshkosh.  The attendance in the game against the undefeated Titans?  1,019. At least that's more than the 772 they drew in the first round of the playoffs.

Interesting attendance stats for sure.
Although I didn't do the research, I'm pretty confident saying UWW has been the winner of the attendance battle w UWO for many, many years, yet somehow UWO recruited some super stud players.
Hopefully UWW changes the performance trajectory quickly otherwise we will again be following UWO in another category.

My flag team was the best my senior year, but we had to play a team with 5 college All Americans on it including Dartt, Kappas, Kmic and the OC playing QB...can't remember who. Btw this was a legit 3 man Oline with blocking. Lost 28-14.... still bitter.... can you tell?

That would definitely qualify as a respectable loss.
I'd be surprised if intramural programs allowed blocking any more. Somehow I ended up watching a UWW online broadcast of their flag championship and I think you could only stand in the way/screen a defender.
Most of my flag playing buddies contributed generously to the orthopedic docs in the area.
