UWO Titan 78

Vegas lines for this weekend's WIAC action

UWO (-17) @ UWRF
UWP (-22.5) @ UWSP
UWW (-9.5) @ UWL
UWEC @ UWS (-18)

The Titans offense has scored 34 points in three games. I'm not sure they will even score 17 points against the Falcons. Maybe the D will score again. Looking forward to the start of conference play.

I was thinking the same when I read it, UWO tossing a shut out.

What's everyone's take on UWRF? It seems they can score points.

The Falcons loss to Missouri Baptist, who they beat 30-3 last year, is telling, IMO. I think they'll cure what ails the UWO offense.

Vegas wouldn't waste it's time.

Hey everyone! WIAC fan for the last 30 years first time poster. I try to follow the league as close as I can. UWL vs Whitewater this weekend is for the game of the weekend. I think Whitewater wears them down in the end but that is going to be a heck of a football game.  UWEC is much improved. Never know how the war on 94 is going to go. As far as the Oshkosh vs RF game. RF impressed me by keeping it tight with a very talented Bethel team. Missouri Baptist game has me scratching my head a bit. Who is Oshkosh going forward with at QB? Not sure if the Pville Point game will be much of anything.

I hope UWW-UWL is a heck of a game, but I think the Warhawks win it comfortably. Having seen UWEC play once, I'm not on board the "much improved" bandwagon, if there is one. I think the real Oshkosh emerges Saturday, but I'm with you on the QB situation. If Radavich just plain won that job, well, he beat out a pretty talented guy. P'ville-Point, I expect a lot of points, and I don't mean the kind that will be consumed in the parking lot (although there will likely be a lot of those too).

What is going on at UWL?!? OC gone on Wednesday before playing the Warhawks? Just saw it on the La Crosse Trib. Huge development in the league.

Ok, I confess my first reaction to Brad's post about the UWL OC was "the poor guy's reading an old article".
I guess not.
Thanks for the breaking news Brad (and welcome to the boards) and the link Bobo.

Wow. Viewed from afar, I thought the guy had been doing a heck of a job as a pretty late hire. UWL's O had been moving good, especially with so many new bodies.

For those of you who haven't seen it, very cool video from UW-W's 73-0 victory over Middle Georgia State.

Looking at the UW-W/La Crosse match-up, I think the key to the game being competitive is the La Crosse young offensive line's ability to fend off the deep, veteran DL for UW-W. UW-L has two freshmen and a sophomore listed as starters on the OL. UW-W's defensive line has four senior starters and a rotation that runs 8 to 9 deep. Whitewater's defense is fast and super physical. It will be interesting to see how the Eagles' O-Line holds up.
