I’m definitely sure I would be a more productive coach than at least one coach on the UWW staff.

You are a piece of work, brother.

Admittedly we'll never know the answer to that but for the record I am considerably less certain.

Back to reality.
UWW v UWO did not make it as a Game of the Week for any of the Quick Hits contributors, given all the other high profile matchups.
I may be off a year, but isn't this a matchup of the two teams from a conference that has advanced to at least the D3 semifinals for the last 13 consecutive years?

Big game tomorrow. I'm thinking two scores to one score- offensively.

I believe you are right about that.  Tomorrow will be a war.  If weather.com is accurate, then it looks like there may be some rain in the morning.  As of now the forecast says there is a low probability of rain during the game. 61 degrees and wind at only seven miles per hour. It should be a great day for football!

Totally is a worthy game. I guess that when it's on the same weekend as 2 vs. 7 and 5 vs. 6, there was a lot to pick from.

Impressive win against a "legit" defense.  ;D

I Didn't see this outcome coming, thought it would be a lot tighter. The Titans were lucky the game was this close, the hawks left some points on the table and still won by 20. Very impressive victory, this hawks defense is ridiculously good.

The Warhawk defense is no joke allowing only 18 yards rushing is extremely impressive

Watched the whole game streaming.  Impressed with UWW defense and also thought Oshkosh D was tough.  UWW offense was solid, but had opportunity to do even better.  Need to continue improvement each week. I am cautiously optimistic.

Great day at the Perk. I normally feel sorry for opponents when UWW is doing its thing, but UWO was in need of a butt whooping- and they came to the right place.
I think it was Titan 78 that felt the UWO coaching staff would be an advantage. Well not today. I will give them the benefit of the doubt in that this UWO looks nothing like their teams of the last few years from a talent perspective, which may be why they did some of the things they did. The fake punt was odd. Although at that point in the game they may have felt the UWW offense wasn't much of a threat. They finally had a drive going I think in the 3rd w Todarello at QB doing the Wildcat thing. They drove well into UWW territory, got a first down, and promptly switched back to their standard offense. The UWW D sent them back from where they came.  That game could have had four more quarters added to it and UWO would still be scoreless and under 50 yards rushing.

The UWW defense was as dominant as I've seen. Henschler is beyond good.

Just to let you know - John Gagliardi, former St. John's coach, passed away this morning. He was the winningest coach in college football history. More info on the MIAC board. Thought you might be interested.

Great story on d3football.com. I put my announcement up before you had your story on. You have a way of writing a good story. But I guess that's what you do. And you do it very well. 😃

The defense is stifling (18 net rushing yards, .5/attempt; passing 5.1/attempt; 3 sacks, 12 TFL), but truth be told, Oshkosh has few, if any, playmaking weapons on offense this year. Dom Todarello looks like a completely difference player w/o players around him to distract attention.

Henschler was unblockable, except when the Oshkosh TE got flagged for targeting on the QB scramble the only time the Titans were threatening to score. Hope Henschler made it through that OK, he got nailed pretty good in the face.

BTW, bleed might have to confirm or deny this one. The box score on DIIIfootball shows Jarrod Ware making 2 FG & the XP's for UWW. Did he also miss those two chip-shot FG's early in the game? They were so easy, yet missed so poorly that the only explanation could be that a non kicker made the attempts. Thought Ware is injuried and out for the year. The TV said it was VG, the guy with the hard name to pronounce or write, making those kicks. Who really was that kicking yesterday, bleed?
