I'd like to see Whitewater go up against HSU or UMHB in the first round.  :-* Like we always do... if we make the playoffs LOL  :'(

That works. We'll show you how it's done.

You can just watch our film from Belton when we won there
or the Stage Bowl Champ game when we beat them.

Why would we look that far? Our own archives has us beating them every time we've played them. What are we, 4-0 against them? 5-0?

(Is that better, bleed?)

I was trying to find a game Blue mentioned and came across a misprint in the 2016 D3 season scores. They must have mistyped a digit or two as the score reads 66-27, UMHB over Linfield. That can't be right.

Yeah, they transposed MHB's score.

Much better 02, now THIS thread made me laugh!

Ya... we got monkey stomped a couple times there... LOL! What do you do?  :-*

Alright folks lets talk match ups for this week. I am not sure that UWL has taken a step forward this year. There is a chance they lose 2 of the next three I believe.

UWL vs UWP- I am different than most of you on here. One super windy game and everyone panics. It happens, team has an awful day and that is what happened to UWP. Turned the ball over 7 times, blocked punt for a touch and 1-4 on 4th down. No one can win when you do that. UWEC offense did not do much. Look past the turnovers and I still think UWP wins this game. The one point people miss on this game is that Coach Schmidt coached at Pville and understand that offense. I do not think UWL has any run game at all. Give me UWP 24- UWL 21

UW Stout vs UWW- Not much to stay about this one.. UWW will win the natty. Give me UWW 38 UWS 0

UWRF vs UWEC- If you would have asked me a week ago I would have said UWRF wins easy. This might be an interesting. At the end of the day UWEC is averaging 16 points a game. UWRF has played the toughest part of their schedule. I think UWRF at home gets this win 34-21.

UWO vs UWSP- Oshkosh wins out I think they get into the playoffs. They need to make a statement here. UWSP is building something I believe but it will take a couple years. It is hard to win starting a fresh QB in this league. UWO D will have a day UWO 31 UWSP 7

UW-Platteville head coach Mike Emendorfer is the 2018 Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame inductee as the collegiate head coach.  Congrats Coach Emendorfer
Former WARHAWKS assistant coach Steve Dinkel will also be honored as the assistant/head coach inductee.  Congrats Dink.

All (or most) of the above, Brad. Saturday looks a little damp, but without the wind factor I expect UWP and UWRF to let 'er fly. Stout might score a couple. They got a hammer in their backfield who doesn't go down easy. And without knowing if/when Urmanski will return at QB for the Pointers, their freshman QB is doing what freshmen QBs do, and that's lose the football. Herro's got some tools but he's turning it over too much.

I think Oshkosh wins out but I think something needs to happen to St. Thomas to clear a Titan path to a Pool C bid. And if that something is a loss to Bethel, does Bethel then leapfrog the Titans? They'd only have one loss, that to St. John's, which is higher ranked than the only team to beat the Titans. And does the other Titan loss (albeit to a D2) get held against them as the committee looks for other means of separating the contenders? I dunno.

Just sayin. Some good teams are gonna get left out. One of them might be 8-2 Oshkosh.

My thoughts:

UW-P at UW-L:
Eau Claire didn't do UW-L any favors last week.  I do believe UW-P will be playing for pride and be ready to play this week.  A Platteville win wouldn't do Oshkosh or Whitewater any favors because it would probably assure that neither UW-P or UW-L ends up regionally ranked. Only UW-L has a slight chance of that with their Ill Wesleyan win and reasonably close loss to UW-0. Plus, one of their losses is non-NCAA. But it's thin ice and a loss to UW-P dumps them out, I believe.  All that being said, I think UW-P gets this one, rendering the WIAC under UW-W and UW-0 a bit of a shambles.
Platteville 27
La Crosse 23

UW-W at UW-Stout:
Whitewater's offensive line has made huge progress over the past three weeks both in terms of run blocking and in terms of limiting penalties. They have always been big, strong, and talented. Now they are gaining experience and cohesion.  That in turn has helped QB Cole Wilber feel much more comfortable. The elite level of the UW-W defense will be a huge challenge to the stubborn Stout offense. Stout's coverage units struggle and the last thing they need is to enhance UW-W's field position.
UW-Whitewater 31
UW-Stout  6

UW-RF at UW-EC:
The Blugolds broke a 17 game WIAC losing streak last week. Could they win two in a row after a streak like that? It's possible.  But RF has three weeks left to make this a decent season and each game is winnable. They will be ready on their home field.
UW-River Falls 31
UW-Eau Claire    14

UW-0 at UW-SP:
Oshkosh's offense has wanted to break loose since being shut out at Whitewater.  They have progressed but they have not busted out.  This is the week.
UW-Oshkosh 51
UW-Stevens Point  0

You guys should post your projections before the WIAC pick-ems.

Bleed I do like your thinking on UWO.

I need to see what Todarello's status is before I comment on the Titans scoring 50.  :)

I forgot someone mentioned he got hurt.  Get on that and let us know!  ;)

But I'm sticking with my prediction. If Todarello is down, maybe it's an opportunity for an unkown playmaker to step forward.  It's hard for me to believe Oshkosh would be suddenly without athletes who could be able to make plays given the opportunity.  Maybe a young guy steps up? Point is vulnerable. Oshkosh is hungry.

But do let us know the word on Todarello!

I am new here. Before I had an account I could never look at the pick em. I always wished people would talk about games on the normal forum. I just like to see everyone else view and maybe get some more people on here to discuss games with us is my thought. You can tell me I am wrong.

Did you forget, Oshkosh is not Candyland!? We just don't have athletes all over the place like some programs.  ;D

I'm not sure I'm interpreting your message correctly. So I'll try to clarify:
I think it's great that you, WW and Bleed are posting score predictions on this forum. I enjoy reading all of them.
My comment about posting before the WIAC pickems was in jest. My hidden point was that your insight may influence/or even help those outside of the WIAC in making their predictions. As example, it seems several non WIAC people are picking UWL over UWP, while you, WW and Bleed are going w UWP.

Keep posting your picks here. I'm typically not a player of pick ems or point projecting, but I'll share my point of view.

OK, after a few years of confusion, I am glad we are straight on that.  ;)
