I was rooting for Buffalo because of Lance Leipold & the Divsion III connection. Up 29-10 in the second half only to let Northern Illinois back in it & to win 30-29. Ouch!

Likely won't change the Bulls landing spot. MAC championship only appears to matter if you're highest ranked among non-Power-5 champs, and NIU surely isn't a contender there. Buffalo might remain the most attractive MAC bowl guest, but that just means choice among Famous Potato Bowl, Dollar General Bowl, et al, vs. another non-Power-5, most likely Sun Belt.

Shoutout to any y'all in the Perk lots and stands today. I won't be one of you. Bring plenty of hand warmers and Fireball. Go 'Hawks!

That game sure was a tale of two halves. NIU is #1 D in MAC and UB's first two series were 94 yard TD drives. They opened the third quarter w another TD drive to go up 29-12. That's the crazy thing about this game- how do you explain it?
I do think UB demonstrated they are a fun team to watch and hopefully that plays into the consideration of the bowl selection.

Now, back to my Bloody Mary as my wife and I prepare to enter The Perk.

If you've been outside today and live in these parts, you'd know why. Even long snaps are clearly adventurous enough. Didn't make sense to pass at all from mid 3Q on. Why pass when all you should be thinking about is lengthening the field, shortening the game and minimizing your opponents' opportunities to score?

It's OK, didn't need it today. Two, hundred yard rushers was the key on a lousy passing weather day. With 4 INT's including one inside the 3 yard line as BU was attempting to score, maybe BU abandoned the run to quickly.

Lets get Wiz healthy, we need him next week.

Didn't realize - for the 3rd week in a row - UWW had a pair of 100 yard rushers. The latest coming against a supposed very good defense. Very impressive.
