Quit skipping your meds. You make strange comments. ($1.00 certainly seems reasonable).  >:( 8-)

I mentioned this on the ASC board, very interesting to hear Coach Pete putting so much emphasis on the UMHB passing game. No doubt they have serious talent.

I hope to see some of you at the game. We are planning to be a party of 6 for the pre-game and game and hopefully enjoyable time in Austin, TX.
Thank God for miles on the credit card.

If I'm them, I'd be looking at the passing game as an opportunity vs UWW. Platteville put up 250 yards on Dubdub. UWRF was plus 200. Even SNC was plus 200. The only game on the schedule that I look at and see a shutdown of a decent passing game would be vs UWL and Schramski.

I don't think any reasonable opponent thinks they're gonna road-grade their way to victory over the Warhawks. They're arguably more beatable through the air. And if I'm UWW, I'd say bring it, and let's see how many footballs Famus Hasty can collect.

With Jase dinged up some i'm not sure how much coach fred will let them put it up. If the line buys him time then maybe they'll air it out some. Jase has a strong arm. I've seen him throw a rope into a stiff wind and hit the WR instride 55 yds down field, but if its anything like last week, the wind was blowing across the field and swirling in the stadium. It was strange to see the goal post flags on both sides of the field blowing different directions.

if D'narian Thomas goes in at QB he is equally likely to throw or run the ball. He has a pretty good arm. He was a QB in high school, but playing WR for 3 years made him a little rusty. He played more later in the year, especially in the Berry game where he took over late 1st Qtr and it seems the rust is worked out.

Should be fun to watch which ever way it goes.

I would agree that UWW has holes in their pass defense. Kind of frustrating to watch as fan. But i'm curious how many of those yards came after UWW was already up by a few scores, and teams were forced to pass to get back in. Considering uww won by no less than 20 points in the WIAC, I'm guessing a lot came in garbage time.

I guess if I had my druthers I'd rather UMHB take their shots w the long ball as opposed to the quick passes. I think of what Ohio State did to Michigan w crossing routes.
If it's a crossing route game, UWW LB's must anticipate and tackle (unless they are returning a pick).
Bubble screens perhaps? Need to shed, pursue and tackle.
This reminds me of how fortunate UWW is to rotate many good D linemen. They may be chasing short stuff.

Add the aspect of the kicking/punting game plan to this and this game is full of intrigue.

Purely from an entertainment standpoint, so would I. The last couple have been a bit of a slog. But I doubt such a game would be in UWW's interest.

In any case, sure hope Wisniewski can go.

Interesting stuff, especially when they brought a little clarity to the d3football/Mount Union rift. Kind of surprised to hear words being thrown around like "juvenile", "childish", "petty", "taking it personal" when describing LK and Mount Union. The whole situation is being handled a little wierd by Mount.

I would love to hear LK's side of the story but I don't think we ever will.

I feel as if I should disclaim that wording because I would never go there. Frank and James are more pundits than journalists and they treat their role in ITH differently than I do for D3sports.com.

I'm as big a Mount-guy as there is, and even I think the silence is odd.

One thing is for sure, you'll never hear LK talk.
