Local weather here is showing a rather nasty weather system leaving California and hitting Texas on Saturday with heavy rain and/or ice and winds. So much for nice weather...

Looks like the rain in Belton is supposed to stop early morning Saturday. Up in my neck of the woods it's supposed to snow, but that's a 200 mile drive. I think game time in Belton might be ok.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Even without precipitation, the 20+ mph winds should prove difficult for the passing and kicking games. Looking at the orientation of the stadium, it will generally be a cross wind.

Wouldn't be a Warhawk - Cru game without strange winds or something.

It wouldn't be a Warhawk-Cru game without a Warhawk victory.

temps in the 40s, tiny chance of rain by gametime, a fair amount of wind throughout the day...I don't think it will be much of an issue. It's not as if either team has a game plan that requires good weather, even though I think UMHB should. They're both gonna run the ball, and run the ball, and run the ball and be content with a 10-7 type ball game.

We aren't just content with 10-7, any UMHB fan worth one's salt would say that's favorite score of all time.   ;D

I feel as if I should disclaim that wording because I would never go there. Frank and James are more pundits than journalists and they treat their role in ITH differently than I do for D3sports.com.

I would agree with that.

That score was cute vs. UWW's little brother.

But I'll take it in favor of UWW.

I was surprised that we didn't have more of a split on that game.  Thought at least one other Quick Hitter would join me on the good ship UWW.  Looking forward to a great game today.

Yeah, I thought one D3 guy took Cole's 1 for 9 throwing last week to heart a little too much. Like he never won WIAC's offensive POY. Or it wasn't 25 mph winds and rainy that day.
