#2!?!? I dont know about that. Thinking he's behind MVS and Geronimo Allison. Shoot. He's probably behind James Lofton & Sterling Sharpe. Most likely a slot guy on 3rd and long.
But kudos anyway. Great accomplishment. Wish him nothing but the best.
Not close to the UWW program. Talent wise, is his brother close? I mean he's got the same hair. So he must, right?

Based on last year, Derek Kumerow looks like a 3rd option. A couple graduations and at least one notable  non-returnee should set up a few more targets for him this year.

As for his brother, he's got 12 in his corner. That's gonna matter.

Whaddaya hear from Titan camp, bofa? They settle on a QB?

You are both right.  As Emma said, Jake is #2 on the depth chart behind Devonte Adams. However MVS and Allison are listed as starters. So Jake is probably both #2 at Devonte's specific position and overall the number 4 receiver. There are no receivers named Lofton or Sharpe on the roster. I didn't follow the preseason closely. Perhaps roster cutdown casualties?

Bofadeeznuts

Yes. You're right. I probably read that wrong. Sorry Emma. Took that as Aaron's #2 option. My bad.
And yes they did cut Sharpe and Lofton. Apparently Sharpe got a serious neck injury this preseason. Career altering. Probably going to call it a career. Same goes for Lofton. Probably a cap casualty. Had a nice career though. Probably make HOF.
And I have no idea about the UWO qb situation. The couple articles  I read mention Radavich. But nothing in stone. Guessing Pat will play a few in the non conference  schedule. Which ever one steps up will most likely play when conference games begin. Just a guess. But I'll be at the game Saturday and let you know what I see.
Speaking on the WIAC. I moved to oshkosh 15 yrs ago. Started to go to UWO games when they were bottom feeders with a couple hundred fans in the stands. Fell in love with D3 football instantly. I know I'm probably suppose to root against UWW and all the other teams in conference. But that's not the case. Top to bottom it's the best. And refreshing football to watch. Only time I root against is whoever UWO is playing that day. Otherwise I love the success UWW has had. Wisconsin strong baby!!!
Actually made a road trip to UWW to watch my Titans play them a few yrs back. I believe it was Jake Kumerow's senior season. He made this spectacular catch down the sidelines. If I remember right, if it wasn't for a few turnovers in the red zone, game might have been different. But what a great atmosphere down there. Had a lot of fun tailgating with y'all. You should be proud.
But yeah, so proud of watching Pat turn this program around. I'll never forget that Kasper, Hecker, Mentkowski and good defenses make that 4 year run together. Believe me. That Mount Union second half still haunts me. Think about it ALL the time. THAT was their window to do it. That kinda team doesn't come around to often. And yes, I know. UWW has those kinda teams EVERY year. But just to have that couple year window was so fun to watch. Just waiting on that "special group" again. Been told that the freshman/sophomore group might be good. Fingers crossed.
Actually have a pretty cool story about that Mount Union second half collapse. Ran into a couple coaches in town here a few months after. Might explain some things. I'll post the story in a few days.
GO GET 'EM WIAC!!!!

Good luck Nate.

I'm beyond excited to see Jake play.

Great news on Trewyn.

Bofa, I look forward to your story on the second half. That UWO offense was loaded and it still boggles my mind how it all happened.
I know the D was young and I assume coach Pat felt the lead was big enough to stay in that 2-3 man rush/contain defense. But man, Mt just methodically picked it apart.

Good luck as we begin the 2019 football season. As the conference where everyone generally beats up on everyone else, you guys will be fun to watch and follow. Play hard. GO WIAC.  ;D

Wouldn't shock me in the least to see WIAC go 2-6 this weekend. On the other hand, 6-2 wouldn't shock me either. Some very interesting openers...

This is an interesting opening weekend- hard to pick. If the WIAC goes 2-6, who do you have winning the two? I assume UWW but not certain on the other- UWO, UWEC?

How do you feel about Stout v #3?

I have a hard time seeing UWW, UWO, UWEC and UWRF all losing this weekend. UWP should win as well. Going 5-3 should be very doable.

I'm willing to bet Stout loses by more than UWW wins. UWW always has seems to have a few layers of rust in their opening game before they get it going.

WW

I've got two lock wins (UWW and UWO), two lock losses (Stout, UWSP) and four coin flips. ETBU chucked a 3-touchdown lead last year before falling to UWP, and I don't see UWP as a better team this year than last year's Pio squad. Loras had four losses within a score last year — IMO, the UWEC game will be a battle. Cobber-LaCrosse... C-M was 5-5 but they play a meat-grinder schedule. Their 5-5 was equal to UWL's 7-3, IMO.

I'd lean UWRF vs M-M, too. That's actually closer to lock territory than the others, the more I think about it. M-M just isn't good.

I think Dubuque will put up a battle for a half or so before getting worn down. Same with Carthage. UWO is just plain better this year than 2018 version.

But so much unknown. All you got to go on is last year, some recruiting hype and gossip with varying degrees of foundation. Only thing I'm a million percent confident in is that UWW gonna be a beast.

Re Stout, I don't think they'll keep up with the powerful Johnnies, but I think the Devlis are on the brink of putting themselves into the Pool C conversation. Returning AC QB, young and talented receiving corps is all back, a LOT of kids want to play there (nearly 80 freshmen reported). They'll be in the scrum.

Not to mention the OC they got from UW-W!

Attention WIAC fans

I must apologize for my earlier post above. It has been misinterpreted because of my poor wording.
I didn't mean to imply that the WIAC schools beat everyone else in the country, although I think it has happened.
Let me try again. As the conference where, over the years, each of the WIAC schools beats the other WIAC schools, you guys will be fun to watch and follow.
Is that better? If not, my signature below may explain my difficulty.
In any case, GO WIAC!  :-[  ;)  ;D
