Yeah. Had to go to different website throughout day to get updated scores and stats.
"I mean this isn't Russia, Betty."
"Its Danny sir."
"Danny."

The scoreboard has always been primarily fed by Division III schools. If you guys are not playing Division III schools, we're not going to easily have updated scores from your games.

What is the D3 record for field goal length? Bobby Patterson, UWRF, kicked a 49 yarder yesterday. That is a Falcon record.

Good question. Mount Union's record is 47 yards. I'll be anxious to see the answer.  ???

62 yards in 1976. Dom Antonini of Rowan.

So Meylor took all the snaps for UWW... is that still an audition going on there?

Oles was injured on first play of the game.
Meylor did a great job. UWW has two very capable QB's thankfully.

While obviously not tying the above record, nonetheless, another long one was 60 yards by Rick Brands of Alma College against Franklin College in 1998.

It's tough to have many takeaways this week about all these NAIA games and lesser-known opponents, but here are a few...

* Urmanski (UWSP) 6 INTs... ouch.

* UWW looks very committed to RB by committee, spreading touches between Ware, Ponick and Peete. Hope Oles isn't out for long but as Bullis has suggested, this team can win with either Meylor or Oles.

* Starting UWL QB Lewandowski left the game after 1Q. Backup is Jack Dwyer, a senior who had never played a down before this year. My outlook on UWL's chances this season would change significantly if Lewandowski injury is serious.

* Berghammer, 20-22 for UWO. That's efficient. And MacCudden finally gets a little room to run, 18-78. I got a feeling this Huntingdon team is down this year, but that's encouraging for Titan fans.

Alright Long Tuesday Morning Post Alert!

I was at Oshkosh this weekend and the Kobe kid impressed me. He is great with his feet and has a decent arm. Game started out slow, but Oskhosk picked it up. Berghammer will be a major issue for this league for years to come. He will make Oshkosh a decent football team with what he can do. I also like the RB's Oshkosh has. I am not as down on UWO as most people are.

UWL- My buddy who follows UWL football thinks that they just flat out benched their starting QB for the senior. Dickson State is a good football team. It will be interesting, they play Waldorf who UWRF lost to next week for a similar opponent. Stock down on UWL this week.

UWRF- Jeff Jones the 4* kid got them like I figured he might. Last second FG. UWRF is again a team I can't figure out.

UWP- I am buying the UWP stock here. Huge win. They will give the league issues.

UWW- Anyone know how serious the QB injury is? What a monster win for UWW to get a win in Chicago for recruiting purposes.

Point- Anyone know how serious the Herro kids injury is? I thought he was a heck of QB as a freshman. Someone said he was hurt. Point Pounded Dakota state last year not sure what happen. Another team can not figure out.

As we get close to rolling to conference play without this weeks games here is how I see this thing finishing

I'm holding out to see how well UWP does against UWL in a couple of weeks before I buy into Platteville. Also, interested to hear what happened to Lewandowski (injured? benched?).

Yes, UWW should win conference this year. I'm not saying that because I believe UWW is a juggernaut this year (which I don't), but because the rest of the conference doesn't seem all that scary to me. UWW has lots of holes, especially on defense. Also, so far through 3 games, I've expected more out of the offense based on what they returned from last year. However, UWW had a pretty competitive non-conference schedule this year. Usually they have one or two teams that they are far and away more talented than. Dubuque, C-M and (especially) St. Xavier are all respectable programs and are not at all door mats.

I agree with your no. 1, but could throw a blanket over the rest of 'em.

After further review of the UWL script, Lewandowski and Dwyer played interchangeably throughout the first half, often switching out on the same possession. Dwyer played exclusively after half. Idk if any of that was dictated by injury. In any case, I'm not buying UWL stock... and I might be with you putting some in Platteville instead.

Herro is injured. I don't know his status, nor do I know what to make of Urmanski and the Pointers. He was so clean in that quality win over Wabash -- 325 yards, 3 TDs, no picks -- and so bad last Saturday with 6 INTs, although I'm in the camp that picks are often more of a team fail than a QB fail.

I like UWO's skill guys too, but having seen Carthage absolutely stonewall their running game, they'll have to prove their line play is up to snuff before I see them as more than a mid-pack team.

UWO's o-line needs to gel and improve if team is going to contend. Freshman right tackle got benched at halftime for another freshman. Center is freshman. Going to be growing pains for a bit.
And I told y'all Berghammer was going to take over after watching him in game 1. He sure is a playmaker. Real fun to watch. Did notice his vision down field isnt the best when he's scrambling out of the pocket. Missed a few open guys. Instead pulled it down for 4 or 5. Should only get better.
Just saw he was WIAC offensive player of week. Nice little honor for first start of career.

If there's anyone close to the UWW program that could answer this, it would be much appreciated.
I enjoy watching the talent in this conference.
So what's up with Alex Peete? Wasn't he preseason All American? Just looked at his season stats and they're garbage. Better RB's on roster? Overrated? Bad o-line play? Injured?
A 3.36 avg. for season and 1.91 avg. last 2 games isnt what I expected  from a  preseason all american.
Anyone watching the games have any answers for me?
