Halftime in Eau Claire with Blugolds up 21-7 over St. Thomas. Quick summary of first half:

- Big play Blugolds. Apart from the three big scoring plays, offense has not done much.

- Quick start for Blugolds as they were up 14-0 less than 2 minutes into the game.

- Bend but not break D for Eau Claire.

- Special teams and turnovers are killing the Tommies. Long run back by Eau Claire on the opening kickoff, 2 missed FGs by St. Thomas to go along with 4 turnovers.

This would be a huge win, if my Blugolds can hold on in the second half.

Wow, what a game between UWEC and St. Thomas. UWEC played one of the grittiest games I've seen played in a long time. Their D played great. The offense did enough, but the D were the stars.

I was one that said the MIAC should have been #1. I'm certainly proved wrong.

What an AMAZING WIN by my Blugolds. Can't believe our defense held out. Offense was completely inept the whole second half as I don't think they got 1 first down in second half. 3 and out and give the ball back to the Tommies. Great game to watch.

With only 3 WIAC games today, they sure showed up big. Highlighted by Eau Claire stopping ST Thomas 21-19! Platteville had a nice win and Stout going to Cali and getting their 1st win of the season. Time for some conference play! Looks like we should have a great game in Whitewater, as they host Eau Claire.
