Wow. 26 straight regular season home games- I didn't realize that.
Setting up for a Jim Dandy.

Seems well thought out.
Who starts and who finishes at QB in the UWW victory?

UWW 2 UWO 1

So you're saying UWO covers the spread. Hmm.

Oh, and 20000 units on the over, please

Can't believe it wouldn't be Oles. If they fall behind by more than a touchdown? Hmmm. But I don't see Whitewater falling behind at all in this one.

Admittedly, my vision of the Titans is clouded by the fact that I've only seen them at their worst, in games where they consistently lost the battle up front, especially on offense. And that's not the kind of thing that gets fixed over the course of the season, whereas things like route timing and pass delivery with young QBs and WRs might.

So while my heart's with UWO (to get 2 WIAC teams in the playoffs) my head says UWW by 10+

Honestly. What would you put the line at?
For me? Maybe UWW (-7 1/2)? To try to entice money to go UWO way?
Maybe like a O/U of like 48? Vegas thinking like a 27-21 game?

All honestly though. As much as it hurts, I think UWW wins comfortably. Maybe by 13 or 14. UWW should feast on UWO's
O-line. UWO will try to open the running game up with deep passes.  UWO will also go 4 wide to open up lanes for Kobe's running game. For UWO to win, it will be on Kobe connecting EARLY with his WRs. UWW should play man. 7 or 8 in box to make Kobe beat them with his arm. I think UWO will give up yards on defense. But maybe not give a lot of points.
But that's from a UWO fan. I haven't seen 1 game of UWW. You've seen a couple UWO games. Probably some UWW games also. Compare the two teams. Tell me how it plays out.
But yes. I'm thinking it will be a slow moving, ugly game.
UWW 23 UWO 10.
I hope I'm wrong. Hope it's a great, high flying affair.

I think that analysis is pretty spot on. And I would add that the Warhawks land on 23 not by the benefit of three field goals, but by the miss of an extra point.

I also think that UWO needs to air it out to have a chance. Conditions should be suitable. This won't be Peter Mac's breakout game. And they're gonna need to turn the ball over and get a couple short fields. Which makes me think this should be Oles game all the way. Move the chains. Pound the rock. Win the game. Making it an aerial show only gives UWO a chance.

As a UWW fan I hope we force UWO to pass. UWO QB is completing just 45% of his passes in conference play. It's his running ability that worries me.

As a Bethel fan, I just want UWO to lose, in whatever way it comes to pass  8-) Go Warhawks!

If UWW loses, it is possible for a SJU/UWW first round matchup. That's ridiculous IMO. But the wisdom of the "Bracket Gurus"  is not something that I'm impressed with.

I agree I'd be surprised if Oles isn't the game started. As for finisher, I'm 50/50. I've seen too many games where UWO keeps the score close, which may lead to a change at QB.

Maybe this will be the year UWW just pounds the snot out of the Titans.
Sort of a win one for the Lance to bring something positive out of the terrible U of Buffalo loss last night.

I enjoyed the D3 interview w UWO coach Cerroni. I find Cerroni's interview style to be very comfortable, like hanging at a bar talking ball. Although he didn't reference candyland directly, he did say UWW has the most talent in the country.
Unfortunately he refused to share his defensive plans.

Great take on it.  I enjoyed it, too.  Not your typical coach interview.

Unlikely, as Gonzo, the WW kicker, who has had as hard of a time as any kicker in college football kicking a 20 yard FG all season long, he is 35 of 35 in PAT's on the season. Chances are he will miss on multiple FG attempt before he misses an XP.

He's the P.T. Barnum of the D3Football world. UWW has the most talent in the country? Right, he's a total BS'er. I don't buy it.

Why do I have the feeling UWW will open at St. John's in round one.

One and done for the hawks If that's the case. Especially if Oles starts
