Sure is quiet around these parts.
Maybe the UWW fans are in a state of uncertainty, especially given the way the last few offensive series went. Poor decisions mixed w heavy pressure = interceptions.
On the positive side, UWW ran the ball very well, so, there is great hope. Pound the rock.

This team should rematch w UMHB.

Barber Greene

Meylor appears to be the starter at QB per the two-deep.

e17.... I suspect every team except UMU is apprehensive about these playoffs.
It's going to be great for us fans.

Good point Doc. As I was trying to plan my Saturday viewing I got fired up w all the good games to watch. Your team's game is the nightcap - looking forward to it.
Aurora at St. John's
Wartburg at Hope
UWO at Central
Even some of those strangers on the Salisbury side should be fun.

So its Central on Saturday, huh? Central what? Central Dutch? As in Dutch Ovens? Well, that's weird. The last time that term was used in this household was when I use to pull the sheets over my exwife's head in the middle of the night.
Well I hope they got a lot of speed because looking at their roster, they are tiny.
I guess I'll keep the gameplan simple.
Dont let them pull the sheets over your head.
Aaaaaaanywho, UWO Titans 32 Central Dutch Ovens 5

Winner of that Wheaton bracket will make championship game. Potential to have some good games in it.

Mount Union over St. John's in championship game.
We are tiny compared to the Titans, hoping you are slow and we can zip through the cracks between the o and d lines. I have a feeling the Dutch will get shoved around a little today. I just hope we get enough big plays to come out ahead.

Is the WIAC significantly down this year? Never would have thought the Iowa league champion would come anywhere close to beating the WIAC champ.

Also thought UWW would beat Monmouth by 50+

I would say the top of the WIAC is down...yes, but the bottom of the WIAC is up (just ask St. Thomas).

UWW is still a very good program, but they aren't at the level they were from '05-'14. Pretty wins and complete games are fewer and far between these days.

Keep your officials in the state please. They are so inconsistent, it's tough to watch..

To be fair, the MIAC's officials often head Wisconsin's way and that is an experience that no one deserves.

Is that code for "holy crap, that unranked, unknown team from Aurora that we were sure we'd double monkey stomp took us to the brink of elimination"?

This Mount fan is very apprehensive about Round 2 against NCC.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

The Dutch have done it a time or two many years ago, but it has been awhile. Score one for the tiny team.

Iowa league? How about the American Rivers Conference, where both teams advanced today?
Reality is for those who lack imagination 😀
