Well, it's a return to the old foe. It's been many a year but I'm glad to be back. Who knows where this will be played but on the boards suspect it will total war.  Great win, Warhawks, and that's the last compliment you get for seven days.

Why were Wheaton game announcers so convinced the game will be in collegeville?

Pretty much, yes.  UWW was ranked #2 in the West, St. John's #4.  This is easy and the Wheaton broadcast crew didn't take the time to understand this before they (repeatedly) forecasted semifinal sites. 

Hopefully they can get more than 500 people this week.  I know the holiday recess dampens postseason attendance, but that's beyond brutal.

He sure did. I have to confess when he came in for the second drive, I was disappointed because I felt Peete had done so well on the first drive, and figured he had his mojo going. Then Ware started doing his thing, and he was nearly unstoppable. The beautiful thing is Peete did the same again when he got in, as did Ponnick. The O line was just tremendous today, including the tight ends. I think the pile driving is now my favorite play in football. Watching all those Warhawks come together to win the scrum was my favorite part of the game.

Ahh, all is right with the world.  02 is nervous/scared of an opponent.  Makes me feel positive about UWW's chance next Saturday.  😜

Exactly.   We were taught this in Jr High.  Easiest way to defeat a wedge, goal line, etc.  Go low!

In this case it was cause and effect.  An excellent game plan, executed extremely well, caused an otherwise very athletic UMHB defense to tire and kept their potent offense off the field.  While I am not trying to take a shot at the UMHB coaching staff, I did not see any significant halftime adjustments. 

UMHB is a great program and an honorable purple power.  They will be back next year.
