Good to be back and so happy to see that all the usual suspects are still hanging around.  Been so long that I couldn't remember my password, (no surprise these days,) and my email associated with account is history so Pat had to, "assign," me a new password.   ;D   Hell of a game yesterday. The difference  between times of possession was ridiculous!  We almost made the trip with #33 but as some of you may know, he had a bit of an issue at work.......... :'( :'(

I see where our season parking passes will carry over into the play-offs.  Anyone know of someone that has a parking pass and won't be using it on Saturday?  Would like to get #33's car in the Perk as well and would be happy to pay for it.  PM me, please.  Would appreciate any leads.

Congrats. Y'all played lights out. We played like crap. Nuff said.

Hey 2001 - I guess it's time to call AAA for the "CRUising to Shenendoah" breakdown!!

I know y'all don't ask Meylor to do much... but he sure doesn't do much.

Ha! Sounds like he's grading out an A then.

I get what you're saying, though I do feel your statement applies reasonably well to all QB's under Smith and now Jennings. UWW runs a different offense and to my eye, you can really see it in the passing game.

On the other hand, he doesn't screw up much, and if the case can be made that he won't lose you the game as, arguably, a 4-pick outing by Oles lost the Oshkosh game, then so be it. I just think you're gonna need to ask a lot more of the QB and WRs to beat UMHB, and I haven't seen evidence that Meylor can deliver it.

Definitely agree on the first half of the sentence and we haven't seen evidence that he can't deliver it either. Going to be a big game for the O-line here as well.

I'd say Max delivered everything we asked him to do and the O-line DEFINITELY had a big game.

When the defense can't stop your running game passing becomes something you do 1. in a jam or 2. just to remind them that you still do it.   Meylor is doing really well and he's improving with each additional start.

Last year I thought one of our biggest problems was UMHB's team speed on defense.  I don't know if this year's version is as fast but that's the reputation.  This year we really took that away from them by successfully running the ball between the tackles and that's credit to the offensive line.  I thought they blocked really well.

We'll need all of it Saturday.

He was near perfect, bleed, with one exception. No argument from me. That pass to Wiz was high quality.

Nope, that would be providing/receiving improper benefits and would strip us of our wins this year.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Well, what a game to come this weekend.  I can't wait.  The ancient enemy.  The old foe.

Your victory over UHMD was like two heavy weights standing two-to-two and one smashing the other.  This week is the heavyweight smasher vs the dancer.  The big questions will be can the Whitewater defense slowdown AirJohnnie?  And can the Johnnie defense take a four quarter beating and keep getting the offense the ball?

Massey makes UWW to be a four point favourite, 34-30.  I don't reckon it will be that close if the score is that high.  If it's less than 25 for both teams then I favour UWW, but if the Jays get more than that and if Erdmann continues his post-season form and passes for 400+ at least 4 TD's then I'm going with the Jays.  Wheaton was a hard contest, though, so our boys will be pretty bruised up.  I hope they recover well.

Welcome back to the boards 413- I hope all is well.
UWW's going to need some of your defensive mojo for this St. John's squad

Good to hear from you, Diane! Let me see what I can do for you and AJ.  I'll PM you within the next couple of days.

Yes, welcome 413.  We knew you never swayed....despite that Carroll fling.   ;D

I'm hearing Mike Schmidt is gone from La Crosse. Going to D-II Northern State. He definitely pumped some juice into his alma mater but left before finishing the job. Anyone from up that way know why that move and why now?
