My god was Erdmann good. If we didn't get to him, he was making plays down field.

Has to be one of the best pure passers UWW has ever faced.

I expected more downfield action when he had the wind at his back. But he was/is really good. Build is too slight for NFL camp consideration, IMO, but I bet the XFL would love a slinger like him.

He sure didn't have long in the pocket for too many downfield attempts. He's gonna be sore tomorrow.

Since you beat a good Jackson Erdmann led St. John's team, you can certainly beat a good Broc Rutter led North Central team.

You are going to get all the North Central folks PO'd at you for rooting for UWW in the Stagg Bowl! Just kidding!

The UWW/St. Johns game yesterday was even closer than most people expected, including some of our D3football.com panalists predicted, although not by much, even though they had picked SJU. Anyway, I am expecting a good and close Stagg Bowl championship game and, hopefully it won't be a blowout as has happened sometimes  in the past more often than we'd like to see.

Good luck to both teams next week.  I wish I could make it to the Stagg Bowl this year, but Texas is a little too far that close to the holidays (of course, since my alma mater is not playing in it😁.) I plan to attend the Stagg next year in Canton, though.

BTW, in a quick tangent here, Ferris State self imploded yesterday during the 4th quarter of their DII semifinal game against West Florida. As such, they lost their chance to for a second straight appearance in the DII National Championship game and try to make up for their loss in the title game last year. Very disappointing for them, although I'm not sure which loss would feel worse, last year's or this one?

Imagine if his wide receivers played a little better, I didn't watch the whole game but it seems like we every time I tuned in I'd see a Johnny receiver drop a pass, bobble a pass and go out of bounds or miss a catchable ball.
