Makes sense to me.
I had such a swing of emotions watching the game (recorded). I was all fired up to watch him play and then disappointed for him to not be in the first offense. So I fast forwarded- sure I'd see him in the 2nd quarter, then watch the halftime show hoping for news on him. No Quinn in 3rd quarter and then not even in garbage time. But during a rewind I saw the camera focused on him on sideline. Turns out they must have spent 5 full minutes talking about him while the game was being played. They showed a video of him working out at a Canadian fishing camp he works at over the summer. Carrying a large propane tank up a hill, power squatting a section of tree trunk, etc. A couple minutes later they went to another video showing Quinn dunking a basketball, including an interview with him. Then they showed a video of him pancaking and pile driving a couple D linemen projected to be early round draft picks.
The guys in the booth talked about being in Quinn's fan club.
I was blown away with the airtime he got- along with the publicity for UWW.

Was very cool to see the clips, the t-shirt and the lengthy discussion.  Would still have liked to see him bangin heads, but can't complain.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

This is a longer version of Quinn's workouts at the fishing camp: https://youtu.be/OV1OPvGanGQ

Never thought I would see the day a UWW player ranked over an Ohio St. player

A meteoric rise for the young man- very happy for him.

I'm not surprised. I've seen a lot of really standout players for UWW when you guys played Mount Union. Wish him well. 🏈 👍

Spring football seems unlikely.  My understanding is that the conference wants to focus it's resources on getting the spring season sports some sort of season this year.  Still a developing situation however.

I would gladly settle for a guarantee of fall football.

For fans, fall football (say that four times fast) is most important.
A quick count of the 2019 UWW roster shows 23 juniors at the time, presumably they are seniors now. I wonder how many of these seniors would love/prefer a spring season- as opposed to paying for another fall semester?

I'm guessing 23, especially given that a spring season wouldn't affect their eligibility.

That's right on. Mount Union will play 5 spring games and will not lose any eligibility. Best of both worlds? Maybe, maybe not!

It doesn't affect their eligibility, but it does affect their current/future bank account.

For sure.  That's why I'm sure 23 would love a spring season! But my original point wasn't expressing a preference in a vacuum. I was implying that the likelihood of spring ball is so low, that I'd gladly accept a guarantee of Fall ball at this point.

But to your point, I was agreeing with you.
