Note for the UWW defense next week. Don't play prevent defense against Central.

Not playing prevent against SJU almost cost Linfield. Too bad SJU's special teams did them in.

USee

It wasn't a prevent defense. It is a dime package. Wheaton actually played man under 2 deep most of that last 2 drives with bump and run man on all the WR's. Blaine Hawkins is Broc Rutter good. Kid was amazing. Great game

The Magic couldn't overcome a couple of huge special teams blunders.

A tradition unrivaled...

I read that the UWW band at half time played Waukesha South's fight song "Saints go Marching in", in tribute to the horrific event that took place in Waukesha last weekend.

Very classy UWW, kudos to them.

If UW-W defeats Central, would they host the winner of he Linfield/UMHB game?

They should as a #1 seed but stranger things have happened.

Yes

Very good day for UW-W. Dominating win and securing home field all the way through the semi's.

Big challenge for Central next week after playing a very physical and emotional "revenge game" against Wheaton today.  The Warhawks will be rested, healthy, and have fresh legs for the showdown. Our challenge will be to defend against one of the best QB's in the country.  Should be a great one!

Great game for UWW as well as UWL.
Looking forward to Central.
Central has a juggernaut of a playoff bracket. See you Saturday.

Didn't know if he came back in or not, but I hope Kumerow is ok. I saw he left the game holding his shoulder after a catch

I mentioned on the game update board that he was the 3rd guy in the handshake line after the game looking just fine.

He didn't come back in. He was talking with the training staff about what was in store this week to get it right for next week. I definitely didn't get the impression it was going to result in him missing much time, if any. Bobo's keen observation is right, I think.

One of the funnier moments of today was a lame attempt at trash talking by a DePauw offensive lineman.  During a particularly frustrating stretch, after one play he shouted at one of our guys, "All Wisconsin kids are poor!"  Our guys were laughing pretty hard about that one.

Maybe he meant hungry.  Because everyone on our team is definitely that.  ;)

Gotcha thanks. I missed the message in the game thread.

Good to hear
