Whitewater should get their first big test of the playoffs next week.

Hopefully it's cold, rainy and miserable for our Texas friends.  ;)

I think that was actually today.  We just happened to get an "A".

Yeah, that post had a little cheekiness to it :P

Very proud of the Warhawks today.  They overcame the adversity of a blocked punt and an early back and forth with a QB who came into the game with a prolific reputation.  And then they came out and completely dominated the second half. A complete team victory.

After a pretty fascinating D-III regular season and three rounds of the bracket, it looks like it comes down to 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 according to the D3football.com poll.  I'm not sure if this validates the poll, the brackets, or the teams.  But probably all three.

Yup....SOS aside, these are the 4 best teams this year.

At least UWW didn't get screwed out of hosting like NCC.

What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

2:30 local time, UWW is the second game.

I always liked being game two of the semi's.

Michigan playing really good tonight; too bad every team in the West is so unworthy especially Iowa. What a beatdown. I do feel good for Mr. Khaki pants. He stuck with it through some dark times. Most guys would have quit long ago.

Wow, not sure Hawkins was the best QB on the field today.

Huh, not sure? It wasn't even close.

But then again, Hawkins doesn't have the Warhawks defense on his side.
The D and O lines were not close. If Hawkins had the time to throw Ww's QB had you would be sitting home instead of at the Perk next Saturday.

Yeah... as a mount union fan I can attest that great UWW dlines can make great qbs look mortal.

You could play the what if game all day shipper, the fact is he didn't and whitewater was better on both lines. In the end Central still gave up 51 and sitting at home.

I admittedly haven't seen every UWW game this year, only 4 of their games, but this 2nd half of football has to be the best the Warhawks have played all year no? It had a lot less to do with Central than it did with the level of play UWW in my opinion.  If UWW had played like that against UWL, it would have been a 2-3 score win in my view. I also think the talk of being one dimensional isn't that relevant. If a team is one dimensional and the other team can't stop it, it doesn't matter. I said going into this game the Warhawks had favorable matchups. The UWW secondary is one of the elite strengths of this team and that was a huge factor in the game yesterday. And UWW's ability to run the ball with a zone scheme negates some of Centrals stunts and defensive plan. Peete is a great runner for the zone blocking scheme as he remains so patient during his runs. Very difficult to defend.

If the Warhawks play like that going forward, it's going to take a very special team and effort to knock them off.

Is there any way to watch the game from yesterday? I'm looking for it and can't find it.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!
