Expecting might be strong, but hoping for sure! I do expect a huge crowd and I think we have a great shot at breaking our attendance record which I believe is 17,000 plus, if I'm not mistaken. The weather is supposed to be beautiful, but Wisconsin plays at home, which is never helpful.

let's hope so.  D3 needs big time, big attendance games.  The atmosphere should help UWW

This feels like it might be a tough get. The attendance record was set when it was a top 5 matchup between UWW and UWO, beautiful and sunny. The two teams were within a couple of hours, and the majority of the roster families as well.

I'm sure UMHB will travel well for this, but I just don't see them traveling like UWO did.

Unless Warhawk fans show up in a way they haven't in years, I just don't see us coming close to breaking the record without it being another school within a reasonable drive.

It might be a tall ask to break the attendance record while hosting a Texas team. Nonetheless, breaking that record would be pretty damn impressive.

A little late to post this here. It went up September 6th. "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly From Saturday's Loss"

Very concerned MHB is going to run circles around the Hawks tomorrow. 34-3 nightmares. Geez, I hope I'm overreacting.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Bleed is better at talking us UWW fans off the ledge. I have faith the UWW D will be disciplined and technique sound, forcing UMHB into longer drives if they are to score.

The key imo is UWW's offense- will they be able to at least be successful in sustaining multiple long drives to keep UMHB's offense on the bench.

I wish there were more posters from other WIAC schools, I'd especially love to hear thoughts on the UWRF v St. John's game. In the few plays I watched last week, the Falcons looked really good and talented.

Frank called for the upset- I tend to think he may be on to something.

I think ur concern is justifiable. This will probably be an ugly one. Only bright side is, we have them at home. Probably won't matter much though.

Just hoping for a strong showing at Berry next week to hopefully give us some momentum going into conference play. Hawks will have two weeks to prepare for UWL, where (sad to think) our postseason hopes might very well be on the line.  :-\

If any Blugolds are making their way to Pella tomorrow don't forget your rain gear. Rain has been extremely rare all summer in Pella, but tomorrow it is supposed to rain the whole game long and well beyond. Could be a long game if lightning is in the area.

OK, guys. Emma had some good points and showed you the way. Come on in off the ledge. KS, you are overreacting for sure. 02, you're not too good at talking someone off the ledge.  ;) If UMHB caught us last week, sure, that might have been the result. We made that many mistakes.  But last week was a huge wake up call for us. Last week was embarrassing and this week of practice reflected that.  If you think this team suddenly is without talent or focus because of what happened last week, then this week is YOUR wake up call.

We might win, we might lose.  UMHB is a great team.  But 34-3 ugly? Nope. I am confident of this:

1. The mistakes have been cleaned up.
2. The changes on the offensive line will make a great difference.
3. No one will push this defense around, not even UMHB. (I acknowledge they are great. But so is our defense).
4. Our QB1 will look like a completely different player.
5. This will be the most physical game of the year for UMHB, unless we play them again down the road.
6. Win or lose, by late Saturday afternoon, you will be proud to be a Warhawk fan.

Lol..nice. Wish I shared your optimism. I miss the days where I was unreasonably worried for nothing, then received a well deserved dose of  "i told you so" the next morning. Over the past few years I think my concerns are more legit

Tell you what, if the Hawks pull this small miracle off, I'll where a Packers jersey to my next UWW game.  :o :-X

"small miracle". I must be chipping away at your pessimism.  :)

Let's go Hawks!

For cry eye. I'm looking up definitions on a football Saturday.
