Lol..nice. Wish I shared your optimism. I miss the days where I was unreasonably worried for nothing, then received a well deserved dose of  "i told you so" the next morning. Over the past few years I think my concerns are more legit

Tell you what, if the Hawks pull this small miracle off, I'll where a Packers jersey to my next UWW game.  :o :-X

Can someone PLEASE take a picture of this when it happens and post it to the message board for the rest of us unable to see it?

Congrats on an outstanding win 'Hawks!

***sigh***

This is what I get for being an idiot. I deserve the humiliation.

I'll try and get a pick with bleed, Badger and Emma this season.

02, you can borrow my Kumerow Packers jersey. Maybe that one won't be quite so stressful.

Wow, really bummed I wasn't able to be there. But not bummed about being wrong!!
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Still at a loss on what went down today. Especially since all this being true:

1. UWW got whooped pretty bad in whitewater against MHB less than a year ago. Warhawks had a stacked lineup - full of talent - that year, who many of felt confident would bring home a 7th Stagg Bowl.

2. After that season our entire offense was gutted. I think only one (maybe two) starters from 2021 started today. Including a whole new set of o-linemen. So much unknown and rebuilding to do.

3. MHB brought back their studs from offense. Including 2 who will likely get Gagliardi Trophy considerations. Or should be considered  at least.

4. This very green UWW team looked like an absolute train wreck last week against an opponent who's suppose to be inferior to MHB. No offense Johnnies.

5. MHB went on to win the Stagg Bowl last year and have been the unanimous #1 team in the country this year.

How all this adds up to UWW winning this game will keep me up tonight.  :o

Congratulations to every player and coach at UW-W tonight on their incredible victory this afternoon.  So much could be said about so many guys who left it all of on the field. But the one comment I want to make tonight is this:  This victory over this team on this day required an almost stunning level of self-belief after a disappointing loss in Minnesota last week.  And our guys had it. Every one of them.  That is the result of excellent leadership and character. Huge congratulations to Coach Bullis, every assistant coach, the team captains, and the other team leaders on doing an incredible job!

So proud of the character of every guy on this team.  As I said to so many of them after the game: "What CAN'T we do"? Let's go Hawks!

I haven't checked in there yet, but I suspect you can find any number of explanations on the ASC board.   :)

That's awesome Bleed.
One thing I noticed immediately in the game was the non stop push of the offense. It seemed every running back ignored the number of tacklers on them as they just pushed for extra yards, from beginning to end effort.

Unfortunately the video guy missed many pass receptions so it was hard to see how great they must have done. I don't want to credit any one receiver more than another- it just seemed #2 pulled down multiple sideline/contested balls throughout the game.

If Kaleb Blaha isn't already on the radar as WIAC MVP, he should be. The kid is a player!
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Coach Walker said before the season that Bla ha would make people forget about Hinrichson , good player as he was.

Yeah the video guy was ass. As a camera operator I would have been embarrassed for poor performance after that game.

UW-W is awesome.
The Bears suck.
So, Bears hands down.
