on that note after Wheaton's game @Trinity was a one time deal. Wheaton will host Oshkosh in September as part of a 2 year contract home and home.

I heard rumblings of that game. I think it must be week 2 in 2023 at Wheaton. I'm pretty sure Oshkosh will host Texas Luth Labor Day Saturday 2023.

Never thought I'd say this ever, but luv those Oregon uni's today.

At least you can see the numbers, Platteville!

Well, it's been a long time since UWW lost to a conference opponent other than UWO. A loss to UWSP in 2012.

You get accustomed to believing UWW will pull it out in the end, regardless of the struggles throughout the game.

UWP wasn't having any of that. Congratulations to UWP.

Pioneers 1st  win over WW in 18 years. Platteville's defense came to play while offensive didn't make any big mistakes. Platteville has Stout, EC and LaX left on their schedule. 4 teams tied for WIAC lead. Going  be an interesting finish to the season.

That was up with there with Buffalo St loss as far as the worse offensive performance that I've ever seen from a whitewater team.

Normally I would be very upset, but bad losses have becoming more and more common with this post-Lance team. I'm Getting used to where this program is (and isn't) now. Let me be clear, by bad losses I mean where we played well, kept it close, but just lost to a better opponent. Can't say we've seen that too many times over the years with our losses.

Most of UWW's recent losses have been by either getting blown out by much better teams, or just complete ineptness of protecting the ball and decision making against a team we probably should have beat.

This might not be popular but I think Whitewater needs a new coach. Talent to rival anyone in the country in D3 but wildly inconsistent mixed with getting dominated out of the playoffs year after year.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

KS--good to hear you have given up. That means RF can walk away next week w/ a win. Let's hope WW players have a better perspective than you do. No it's not time for a new coach.

Falcons score on first 6 possessions to take 42- 0 lead, 56 - 6 at half. 35-0 at end first Q, new RF record for 1st q/ score. Blaha played less than a half, none in 2nd half.
Backup qb, Tyler Schweigert, 8/15, 133 yds, played well. Offense much more diversified w/ 3 running backs, accumulating 198 yds. Blaha had 79 rushing including a 63 yd td score. EC showed why they are last on D in the league.

Congrats Pioneers you took advantage of just enough WARHAWKS mistakes to pull off the upset.

I don't know what it is but we aren't the same offensive team on the road.  We played poorly at St Johns.  We played worse than that today.  Struggled at Berry but won.  Really the only away game in which we've played well offensively was in LaCrosse.

Special teams are driving me crazy.  If it isn't one unit it's another.  Today it was the punt return unit who was penalized 4 times for blocks in the back and/or holding.   Twice it moved field position from midfield to inside the 15. It was undisciplined and we're way too deep into the season for that kind of nonsense.

I'm not sure I've ever seen an officiating crew huddle as often as these guys did today.

Congrats to the Pioneers on the win. Clearly a disappointing day for the Hawks. Lots to clean up.  The defense played well enough to win, but we've got to clean up the penalties and turnovers. I have confidence the players and coaches will get things cleaned up. Big one next week.

Oof.  Tough loss for the Warhawks.  The Johnnies are not alone in inconsistent play in 2022.

Platteville has now beaten Bethel and UWW--congratulations!  Not that I care about polls, but the pollsters have their work cut out for them this week.

Was that back when Tom Journell was the coach at UWSP? Congrats to UWP

As along as bullis keeps winning conference titles he won't be let go. I Don't think we will ever have a Leipold again.
