Lol

Luck was on UWW's side today.

Great exciting win.... this team is just hanging onto their season by a thread.

Tough, ugly win, but I'll take it for the hawks.

Love that a freshman kicked a 49 yarder to win the game.

And Stout over UWP.

UWW truly controls their own destiny IF they take care of business the rest of the way.

WIAC-ky!  UWW game was incredible. Congrats Warhawks.

Who would have thought our freshman kicker would be the model of consistency in a very stale offense this year. He got off to kinda rough start early in the season, but has really been kicking the ball well down the stretch.

Love having a reliable kicker again.

Ready to quit watching at half. WW D against run key to win. Blaha never could get loose and was rushed most of time, esp first half. But was proud of Falcon resilience. I think we lost it in the trenches. Now we need help from Stout and a win at Lax.

What a day for exciting finishes,
1. WW wins over RF with a 49 yard FG
2. LaX wins over Oshkosh with a 47 yard FG with less than a minute then intercepts to seal the deal
3. Stout and Platteville go to 3rd OT where each team lines up for 2pt conversions Stout intercepts Platteville's try then Stout makes theirs on a catch in the back of the end zone where the QB was throwing under pressure.
Just a typical Saturday in the WIAC.

UWRF's intended targets were consistently beating uww's dbacks down field. Many were over thrown or just dropped. UWW was very fortunate and lucky in that regard.

Good point 02- it seemed there were several long pass play opportunities squandered by UWRF.

Blaha is a tough player, but the Falcons ask an awful lot of him.

Two points.
-These close games are preventing UWW from getting backup players in the game, especially the #2 QB. I know you don't want a QB controversy, but maybe a series here and there for #2 would be helpful.
-I don't think I'm a fan of so much RB rotation. Tamir Thomas seems to be the big play guy.

Last year we were tied w/5 minutes left and lost by 6. This year we were tied w/5 seconds left and lost by 3. Incremental progress?

Irrespective of the scores, River Falls as a program is progressing for sure. Blaha is a great piece to build around for the next couple of years. Congratulations on a great game, Falcons.  Good luck the rest of the way.

Much appreciated, bleed.

I actually felt a little sorry for your guys, Fred.  Don't get me wrong I'm glad we won but that finish had to be hard.
