Aurora put up 80 points in their last two games vs. St. John's.
UWW will have to keep that offense off the field.

They were also blown out against NCC and Wheaton last year, so I guess we'll see how much that conference tested/prepared them for this Saturday at The Perk.

Good point. It is a different style of football between St. John's and NCC/Wheaton.

I'm a fan of what Beebe does with that Aurora program to get the best out of the players they get.

ncc_fan,  the WIAC tie breaker scheme is used.  Pville and Oshkosh had both played in a D3 playoff game more recently than UWRF.

Yeah last year Aurora's D could get gashed in bunches and this year that part of the team is much improved. Again it's a big test keeping UWW's offense in check consistently for four quarters.

Also I felt like it's been a lot longer since an NACC vs WIAC matchup but 2018 was the last time both leagues matched up in the playoffs.

J. Edmonson had four rushing TDs against Point on Saturday. That's the most rushing TDs in a single WIAC game this year.

......and he only touched the ball 5 times.  :o

5 att
112yards
22.4 average
4 TDs

Against a WIAC team too!

hazzben

Can we really still call USWP a WIAC team at this point  ;)

Seriously though, that's an insane stat line.

Flying under the radar:

Warhawk kicker Jeffery Isotalo-McGuire has made 11 consecutive field goal attempts and is 34-34 in extra points this year.  He has also made two game winning field goals. He is a great kicker and is having a great year.

Nice going bp, he probably won't make another kick all year!  ;D

Absolutely! No kid though! I think he's like 22. Not sure of his entire journey, but I know he spent time at UNLV. I just hope we can keep him for four years!  Last year's kicker, Matt Maldanado (who was also a freshman) is now playing for Murray State.

Oh wow, didn't know that. Might have him maybe another year or two at the most of him. Unless he still needs a ton of credits to go till he graduates.

He kicks behind 2 seniors for an 2-8 team including the #1 who was coached by a friend of mine at Orlando Edgewater HS, a very good program. I think next year he'll have a chance to actually kick in a game. On the bright side MSU is on a 2 game winning streak after losing their first 8 this season!

Kaleb Blaha got screwed on all conference pick as Honorable Mention on offense. He led the league in total offense. Ridiculous!

That's pretty .... surprising. As good a passer as any, and ran for almost 1000 yards. Wow.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Three players from Lake Zurich High School make WIAC All Conference list. Another player from that same team is now starting linebacker on the Chicago Bears.

I would agree. He had more yards (passing and rushing), more TDs and fewer INTs than Lewandowski. Kind of surprised Evan made the list, he led (tied) the conference in INTs while only throwing the ball 282 times (3rd fewest attempts in the WIAC).  :-[
