Platteville non conference games are at Lakeland (Thursday), at Dubuque, vs Michigan Tech.

Good to see Dubuque back on Platteville's schedule. Years ago they had somewhat of a trophy game calling it the "Battle for the Bridge" but then they just quit playing each other.  Hopefully they will continue playing each other.

Based on other WIAC schedules, This is what whitewater's will look like.

Sept. 2 @JCU
Sept. 9 vs SJU
Sept. 16 @UMHB
bye
Sept. 30 @UWO
Oct. 7 vs La Crosse
Oct. 14 @UWRF
Oct. 21 @/vs UWEC/UWSP
Oct. 28 vs UWP
Nov. 4 @UWS
Nov. 11 @/vs UWEC/UWSP

At least one game will be home vs UWEC or UWSP. It would be nice if both of them are considerng last year we only had 4 home games excluding the playoffs.

We're gonna know pretty early on how Jace Rindahl is doing in his first year.

If we're alternating home/away based on last year, then this year will be home against EC, and @SP.  Also, I would assume you meant Stout for the Week 10 Nov 4 game?  If I were a betting man (which I am not), I would figure EC would be the Week 8 game, and SP would close the season.  It's happened more often than not.

Really excited to see how Jace does in his first year as HC.  Saw him play when I was in school there (kinda see every home game as a part of the band).

Holy moly, the first six games are all playoff/playoff caliber teams. What a challenge for any coach, let alone a first-year coach.

Yes, there has definitely been a change in the West to sort the wheat from the chaff during the season.  It's like we're creating our own itsy bitsy SEC challenge.  Anyone who can run the season gauntlet is a contenda.  Coulda been someone.

Like the good ol days when I'd type in the letters U W W and then Mt Union would auto fill.

Stevens Point shows a home game against Whitewater on Nov 4.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

A little bit of sleuthing has been able to get this much of the UWEC schedule together. Oct. 14, Nov. 4, Nov. 11 I put together looking at WIAC teams that already had schedules out

Sept. 2 - v. Concordia Moorhead
Sept. 9 - ??
Sept. 16 - v. Bethel
Sept. 23 - ??
Sept. 30 - @ UWSP
Oct. 7 - v. UWRF
Oct. 14 - @ Oshkosh ?? (UWRF has UWO 1/11, Platteville has UWO 11/11 leaving 10/14 for UWEC)
Oct. 21 - v. Platteville
Oct. 28 - @ LaCrosse
Nov. 4 - v. UW Shout ?? inserted as the last unknown
Nov. 11 - @Whitewater ?? (UWSP has UWW 11/4, UWRF has UWW 10/14 leaving 11/11 for UWEC)

September 9 & 16 are the only unknowns with one of those weeks being a bye. I see Albion on UWSP's schedule so I don't think we reupped for another home and home with them. Loras who we have been playing for the past 4 years has their schedule out and we are not on it.  Non conference games seem to be a home and home type set up, so unless last year was just a one off I think it will be Central College from the ARC coming up to play in Eau Claire as we went down there last year and did not play them the year before.

Well, if UWW only has 3 or 4 home games, Perkins Stadium should have (better have) 10,000 capacity crowd, I hope! Tell those students to go to the games! :)

Huge win for Coach Rindahl getting Coach Marcus McLin back to UW-W. McLin, who was defensive coordinator for D-II Bemidji State last year, will serve as Associate Head Coach, Co-defensive coordinator, and defensive backs coach.  Marcus is a special person and coach. He was being pursued by D-1 schools, but chose to come back to his alma mater.  He was a finalist for the Head Coach position at UW-W as well.

Great news. Loved the way Marcus played. Congratulations to him and team.

Today UW-Eau Claire named Brady Grayvold as defensive coordinator. He had been a defensive assistant at St. Thomas.
