My college diction coach from that one semester would be very happy to hear you say that. :) Thank you!

UWSP getting flat out embarrassed right now. Pointers better be a getting BIG sack of money for this game.

Platteville opens the season with a 80-13 win at Lakeland. Kind of like an NFL preseason game for Platteville their starters only play the first 10 minutes on offense. The big advantage for Platteville was up front on both sides. Platteville's  O-line opened up holes for their running backs and their QBs had time to look for open receivers. Defensively Platteville put pressure on Lakeland's QB and running backs. The 80 points sets  a scoring record for Platteville the old record of 70 was set in 1970.

I remember playing UW River falls back in the late '80s early '90s as a defensive lineman. That was one of the games I hated the most because I know you were going to hurt like hell the next day because they were going to run it or try to run it right down your throat. You were sore until Tuesday it was straight up smash mouth football as they ran the wishbone back then and the receivers were mainly for blocking but they won quite a bit.

Playing offense, it was frustrating to us as well watching RF grind down the field. I'm sure I wasn't the only player thinking "crush that dang QB". Amazing how difficult it is to get a clean shot on an option QB.

UWRF tried to get the 1 o'clock game set back to 11 because of heat, but M HB would have no part of it even though they came up in a charter flight. It appears they think they have an advantage in playing in the heat. They practiced at Ramer Field this afternoon and then drove back to Minneapolis where they stayed overnight. The local hotel and restaurant  got no economic boost.

Interesting scenario with the Kansas game tonight. Kansas stud and returning starter QB Jalen Daniels was expected to start to tonight despite missing quite a bit of fall camp w back issues. Jalen dressed, participated in pregame warmups- and didn't play a snap, reminiscent of 2010 playoffs and Matt Blanchard. Kansas won. Lance must be a heck of a poker player.

I suppose they wanted to add something more to the whole trip like going to the Mall of America or something.

Does UWRF normally wear white jerseys at home?

Gotta feel good for Jace!! Great road win, against a top 20 team, to start the year. Offense really
turned it up in the second half.
