Turtle- I hope you're right. In the meantime I'll go back to my intimidation tactics of sending Falcon players videos of UWL NFL players like Newberry, Schroeder and Maslowski.

La Crosse blocks a 27-yard FG attempt on the final play of the game to escape River Falls with a 31-28 victory. La Crosse held a 31-7 lead before the Falcons stormed back with Blaha leading the way.
2008-09 and 2012-13 WIAC Fantasy League Champion

2008-09 WIAC Pick'Em Tri-Champion

All the UWL players in jerseys (only) well behind the bench...did they travel by themselves to go to the game?

UWRF going to be a 3-time champion of the Isthmus Bowl.

02 Warhawk

Shame UWRF won't be making it. They will be better than 2/3 of the playoff field.

But that's how it works. 100% understand.

UWRF looked like UWSP for the first half of the game, or UWL looked like Georgia.
Unbelievable the Falcons came back. They had a throw into the endzone from the 10ish before the field goal that would have won the game.

UWW looked great today, glad to see a shutout like the old days. Also glad to see Ceniti play the second half at QB, he ran the offense very well.

It was finally nice to see future Warhawk offensive stars get some meaningful playing time this year. RBs Jackson (sophomore) & Stanton (freshman) looked impressive in the 2nd half today. Ran hard, showed good quickness & burst. Gave Thomas & Maher-Parr some well deserved rest. Should be more of the same next week.

Agreed. I thought coach Rindahl did a great job keeping the team focused to play this game at such a high level. The future guys played with the same intensity.

Would have rather seen Chryst have Ceniti's snaps & Ceniti take Chryst's snaps.

Platteville beats Oshkosh 22-7. Tad Habedank rushed for 100 yards and Priami three for over 200 yards and a TD. Platteville's offense seems to  play much smoother with Priami.  Platteville's defense had 3 interceptions to none for Oshkosh. Oshkosh started the season in the top tier of the WIAC. The way Platteville played RF and LaX they are moving closer to the top tier next week's game against Stout will tell me more.

I was also pleased particularly with the fact they preserved the shutout.

Unfortunately, the punt returners ignored the stay focused & play at a high level memo.
They were very lucky today.

So the blocked FG went beyond the line of sxrimmage...

WIACer

Yes. Lax player got through the line untouched for the block. 13 secs left on clock. I'm sure RF was hoping for a couple of plays. They only got one. Lax is good. RF didn't play a complete game. RF is good.
