Congrats to UWW. Explosive plays were the name of the game. A nice mix of physicality and speed. Your QB run game is a nice wrinkle, especially with your deep threats at WR. Good luck the rest of the way.

Platteville built a 27-0 lead in the first half to coast to a 36-10 win over Augustana in the Isthmus Bowl. Platteville's defense held Augustana in check at first then became a bend not break in the 2nd half. Offense was led by 2nd string QB Carl Richardson and RB Zach Bothun. A nice finish to Platteville's season.

What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

He was on the sidelines in street clothes so was Platteville's kicker Andrew Schwwigert.

Love the offense play calling....been saying it all season. No offense to Bullis, but this regime seems to have a much better grasp on it.

You realize that the offensive coordinator, Nick Pesik, is the same Nick Pesik that called plays last year, right.

Not sure what it is. Something is different.

Not gonna lie, Aurora vs UW-La Crosse could be a good game. AU was without their starting QB yesterday but survived turning the ball over 4 times by forcing six Coe turnovers. If the Spartans starting QB is ready to go Saturday, this could be the best game on the docket.

Not apples and apples. Speed of the leader, speed of the team. The head coach sets the tone for the coordinators. Thankfully Coach Rindahl knew changes needed to be made.

Aurora will be a tough out for nearly any team (NCC whooped them a year or two ago).  Don Beebe is a magnet for athletes. Besides his impressive career in the NFL, his Don Beebe House of Speed has trained many athletes, and I'm sure he has built great relationships w high school coaches around IL suburbs. No doubt he does great stuff w 7 on 7 passing leagues. In looking at their roster they've got quite a few FL and TX kids. I have to believe the roster is loaded w kids that excel in the passing game, including the freshman QB.

it's being reported that the AU starting QB suffered nerve damage in the regular season finale and is out for the year. Pat brought this up on the podcast
