Idk what was worse about this game. Whitewater losing, or the wartburg camerapeople literally not doing their jobs half the time.

UWW losing is worse

Well- I think it was a great season for UWW. Looking forward to next year already.
Wartburg played great in the clutch.

The Third Division

Wartburg was full of 5th year seniors and whitewater just wasn't full of 5th year seniors.

tbh they deserved the w.

They were the better team. Made fewer mistakes. one team was clutch down the stretch and the other wasn't. Lots coming back to be hopeful about. Maybe they can have an open tryout for kickers/punters. The one glaring weak spot on this team.

The Third Division

I wanna say La crosse was within one posession of NC twice today. We'll have to see if wartburg can take it closer to NC. They are about the best ARC team that has existed in many years.

No doubt. How many passes did we hear about but never saw? No replays either? Amateur hour...

Kickers killed us.

Was that last fumble legit? Who knows? No replay could show it.

The bottom line is that we made too many mistakes.  You can't do that against an opponent as good as Wartburg.
Congrats to Wartburg and good luck in the remaining tournament.

I watched the video of the Whitman game so before this one I told my friend to ready to miss plays that occur downfield.  That was just some really bad camera work.

Congratulations on a great season, Warhawks!  Not the ending we wanted for sure. Thank you, seniors, for all you have poured into the program. As we build upon this year, you are a big part of any success we are able to achieve. Thank you coaching staff for working your butts off investing in the players and putting together creative and effective game plans. Great job Coach Rindahl putting your stamp on the program and getting buy in from everyone involved. You are an easy leader to buy into and follow. I truly believe really exciting times are ahead. Go Hawks!

In addition to the poor camera work, how about one of the booth guys referring to "Ralph" Macon advancing to the semifinals- he said it at least twice.
I just don't get the difficulty for students in doing a decent broadcast.

The LaCrosse broadcast was brutal also. Apparently, the color commentator is recovering from a stroke. His effort is much appreciated. But, the camera work was something to be desired. And, they missed plays of the game because of commercials. Commercials were also shown with the video of the game playing behind the commercial. Very frustrating. This was probably the worst production I've seen in my decades of watching D III football.

I want to apologize to my Warhawk "friends." I think I was responsible for their loss. I was not watching the entire game. Every time I did tune in, the Warhawks would score or make defensive stops. I would then drop off. When I checked back in, Wartburg had scored to either catch up, or go ahead. I would them watch until UWW went ahead, and thinking this would lead to UWW being UWW (as you say) and would drop off again. Last time I checked, it was final. Sorry.

Thank god, I thought it was my fault because I forgot to wear my lucky underwear.

I would also like to express my gratitude to everyone who had anything to do with the WARHAWKS football program.  There were more than a few who didn't believe we could navigate that schedule successfully.  I think the program is in a very, very good spot and I can't wait to see what we can do in the future.  GO WARHAWKS

I agree with what BW said. One silver lining from yesterday was how we competed in the loss. They played great game against a very team on the road. One of my pet peeves from the previous regime was that the teams didn't seem prepared enough in their playoff losses. Each season ended via a very poorly executed/coached game. It seems to me the players are responding a little better to JR than they did to KB.

Congratulations to four Warhawks earning first team All Region. Very encouraging to see two underclassmen offensive linemen. UWW has a good nucleus to build on for 2024.

Is UWW still Pound the Rock?
Last two playoff losses:
2023: 39 passes, 26 runs.
2022: 36 passes, 30 runs.
