It's a good point. The defense will always be in good hands. Jace obviously can coach that side of the ball. Given that both Pesik and Shields are no longer with the team (at least assuming so given their Twitter bio edits), I have to assume Jace let them both go. Unless we get some insider info (and maybe we will at some point), we won't know for sure.

UWW asst HC/DC Marcus McLin off to SDSU in FCS.  Looks like the Warhawks will be looking to fill both coordinator positions

Rumor from the CCIW board that Oshkosh and NCC will play each other in non-conference next season. Considering they did a home at home with Wheaton in 23/24 it makes me think the same will be done with NCC for 25/26.
You win! You always do!

That's great for Marcus- he will be coaching against the Mt Union of the FCS.

HC Rindahl sure has his work cut out for him this offseason. I'm assuming long time D assistant Cortez will interview for DC. Other than him, I'm guessing all other candidates will be from outside the program.

Bold move by both programs- glad to see it from a fan perspective. Should be a good opportunity for NCC to get their new starters ready for conference play.

Maybe Brian Borland would come out of retirement for another run at UWW...

Whoa. Now there's an idea.

Rumor has it that he is moving to Florida.  I've also heard that Miles Hookstead has been hired as tight ends coach.  Miles is formerly from Whitewater High School before following Stan Zweifel to Dubuque where he starred as a tight end and afterwards joined the coaching

It appears Hookstead is interviewing for a different coaching position than the tight ends.

Coming over from CCIW board, Oshkosh is at NCC week 2.

Going to be a total 180 for the Titans in 2025, who had three nonconference home games in 2024 and are going to have three nonconference road games 2025.

It is expected Oshkosh will return the game to Michigan Tech week 3.

Maybe only saving grace is they had three conference home games in 2024 and will have four in 2025.

Unfortunate they couldn't get NCC to come to Oshkosh in year one of the home and home, but sometimes you have go on the road first to make the agreement work.

I think UWO's starting QB was only a freshman for 2024. Hopefully he's been seasoned enough to perform well vs. NCC.

Congratulations to Platteville's Ben Yonger and Aaron Borgering from River Falls for making the 2nd team All American Academic team.

This would replace the slot filled the past two years by John Carroll.  I'm pretty sure the other two out of conference games will be Roosevelt at home and Mary Harden Baylor in Belton.

Saw this DEFENSIVE stat on Football Scoop:

Red Zone Touchdown Percentage
FBS: Penn State -- 41.46
FCS: Columbia -- 35.71
D2: Wingate (N.C.) -- 31.81
D3: Wisconsin-Whitewater -- 34.78
NAIA: N/A

Bethel had some gaudy defensive stats. NCC with expected high performance.
