1 and 3, OUCH.  That's what I get for looking up the dirt on these teams outside the WIAC.

falconforlife

Complete dominace on the offencisve side of the ball for the Falcons.

Defense still needs a little work.

WAY TO GET THE FIRST WIN!!!!

I'm not even a blugold fan and I'm ticked off about today. Congrats to SP and RF on their first W's. Pios, did the bus carrying the defense break down on the way to rock island? oh well. Fredfalcon, Badgerwarhawk, and stoutguy all go 4-0 today. Here's the totals look...

Blue Devil fans lead our pick 'em right now. I did not post anyone who didn't pick this week. RalphE, pville1, and voice, either I lost your picks amidst all the linfield clutter on this board, or you didn't post for the week. let me know. any of you RF posters coming to the kosh next weekend?

fredfalcon

I told you guys not to pick against the Falcons after last week's game. Only a few of you listened. They must be the ones who still think RF will finish last in the conference.

Falconforlife dissed the defense, but about a third of the 405 yds passing from the Lutes came in the last 6-8 minutes when the Lutes starting qb was throwing against the Falcon second string D. Starters vs. starters, the score was 45-7.

Wolfe: 168 yds rushing, one TD. Anderson: 205 yds rushing, one TD. Falcons: 500 plus yds rushing.

Dont pick against RF next week.

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Well, I am not sure where all the talk is now about Eau Claire.  I am thinking UWW by + 2 TD's.  (call it in)  That was for Linfield
This has got to be one of the worst non-conference years in the history of the WIAC/WSUC.
I am excited to see the winner of Oshvegas and RF.
I wonder what UWLX does with a month of football off.

runningdevils

Well here are my power rankings for the week.  not much change a top.  I don't see much changing up there for a few weeks.

UWW             UWW
UWL              UWL
UWS              UWS
UWEC            UWRF

UWEC loses to a scholarship program, the #2 team in the NAIA, and you knock them down that far?

Pat would agree with you St. Francis is a very good team with a lot speed. This team would do well against any D3 team. From what I can tell this is their 34 regular season win.

Sounds like a MU. Do  schools have full ride scholarships?

TRU

Question on last post was how many NAIA schools have full ride scholarship programs? All, just a few etc.

Padmofu,

I was in Las Vegas all week at my daughter's wedding.  I faintly remember making my picks on Wednesday, but I have other faint memories about Vegas that I am not sure if they are real memories or just halucinations.

Anyway, the picks that I faintly remember had Point, Augustana, St. Francis and River Falls as the winners  (3 and 1).

Then again, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, so thats where my week-four picks are.

BDB

FredFalcon, You didn't have to sell me on picking the Falcons this week. That's a team on the come that has played some awful tough competition over the past several years. Just a little more depth and they will contend for the WIAC.

Otherwise, I had my WIAC goggles on with my EC and P-Ville picks.  :-[

falconforlife

FredFalcon,

Wasn't dissing the D.  Lutes could move the ball with SOME ease in the first half; mistakes cost them a few possesions (int, no kicker, pemalties).  Defense played EXCEPTIONALLY well; especially compared to the last few years at RF.

All I was saying is there is always room for a little improvement.  This is one of the better defenses I have seen at RF since I have been here.

GO FALCONS!!!
