BNadger Warhawk I am with you..
All Lacrosse ahd to do was knock the ball down. Or not let whitewater block a punt of a TD which turned the game around. Especially when Lacrosse was up 20-7.
So forget the whole clock issue the Eagles screwed them, sleves by letting the hawks back in the game.
I mean no ones perfect especially the referees.
GO WARHAWKS SHIOCK THE WORLD BEAT LACROSSE THOSE OF US IN WARHAWK NATION BELIEVE AND KNOW THAT YoU CAN

A lot of variety in this week's picks.  This is where the pick'em gets more interesting. I agree with warhawkalum, La Crosse has got to be hosting D3's most exciting showdown this week. Any of you Hawk or Eagle fans have a good estimate of what the attendance will be? Also, for any Titan fans a little closer to the program than I am... any word on Patek?

UdubO

Patek more then likely will be starting on satuday which will give the titans a little more balance on offense.  They will more then likely throw the ball more then 12 times

Brian Carroll

Picks: Osh,Point,EC and WW win. I expect a full house at La Crosse - 4300 fans minimum. Weather forecast calls for sunny and somewhat windy. 64 degrees. Should be a great game.

With the spelling mistakes, I sure hope Warhawk Alum is taking a remedial spelling class!

:D  Unfortunately you come to accept it on a message board, but it sure makes it hard to read.

Always one of my favorites: Lacrosse. Hmmm... Eauclaire, Greenbay, Crossplains, Saintcroixfalls, Westbend, Riverfalls, Stevenspoint... well you get the point.

After considerable deliberation, hurried consultations with conference experts and several intoxicating beverages last night I've decided on....

Oshkosh at Platteville....I'm probably giving them too much credit on the road but they do have that new logo thing going for them.....Oshkosh

River Falls at Stevens Point....In what some will consider an upset....River Falls

Stout at Eau Claire....BluGold  seem to have righted the ship last weekend....Eau Claire

WHITEWATER at LaCrosse....WARHAWKS,WARHAWKS,WARHAWKS  This time it's our turn.

Mr. Downtown

Patek will start, but is only at 85%-90%

Oshkosh @ Platteville: Folks, these are two teams going in totally two different directions. With or without Patek, Oshkosh's game plan is going to run the ball down the Pioneers throat. Seeing how every team has done that against them, I see no way on how the Pioneers are going to stop Oshkosh. And oh yeah, by the way, how is Platteville's O going to fare against Oshkosh's D? Too many questions for Platteville. though, it is their homecoming, and they are looking for revenge for last years smackdown.

in a very close one

Oshkosh 34
Platteville 33  double OT
WARNING SHAMELESS PLUG: For those interested..I will be doing the play by play of the broadcast for 90.3 WRST. You can listen to the game on www.uwosh.edu/wrst

the rest...

River Falls @ Stevens Point: Falls fell short against Eau Claire last week, and perhaps that defense isn't as bad as their nonconference numbers say. But with only scoring 24 total points in their first two conference games, offense is a concern. But again, whats not a concern with Stevens Point

River Falls 14
Stevens Point 10

Stout @ Eau Claire: After suffering a heartbreaking loss to Oshkosh, I really do wonder how this Blue Devil team is going to bounce back? Well, I don't think a trip to Eau Claire will make things better.

Eau Claire: 28
Stout  13

And the game of the week

Whitewater @ LaCrosse: A match up of possibly the best team RIGHT NOW with the Warhawks, and the team that has proven to be the best. I really hate to say that this will determine who wins conference with so many conference games remaining...but lets be real here. Winner most likely will be crowned the champion at the end of the year.

Some things to take in consideration, both teams are almost identical. Very balanced Offense, and very good defense's. I do believe this will be a battle of Qb's, and if I'm right...my belief is that Justin Jacobs is the best QB out there...and I don't believe he plays for LaCrosse

For the WIAC championship

Whitewater 31
LaCrosse 28

Just a little FYI-

Going into this weekend UWL has beaten UWW 10 of the last 13 times they've met.  Sometimes one team just matches up well, and has the other teams number.

I think that is the case here.  UWL celebrates homecoming with a victory, 28-24.
2008-09 and 2012-13 WIAC Fantasy League Champion

2008-09 WIAC Pick'Em Tri-Champion

UdubO

i don't think La Crosse's defense is as good as everybody thinks.  Whitewater's offense is as good as everybody thinks.  The final score will show this.  WW 40  LC 20

thats just what i think

Fortunately we won't be replaying any of those thirteen games.

I, for one, have faith in John Schumann and have no doubt he will lead Lacrosse to a big victory this weekend.  Unfortunately I can't be at the game but it would be a hell of a game to be at
