Med school, huh?  That explains the arrogance.  I use to live in Minnesota.  You can't possible be bragging about the MIAC!  Stick to bragging about St John's  You've got credibility there and since the polls become more accurate as the season goes on, (more insight) guess that explains why the WIAC has a team ranked above both of yours!

The last few WIAC champs were not ranked #2 in the nation (which hopefully will continue) and therefore, they will recieve a higher seed and should require that they be moved out of the west to a #1 seed position which will give them an easier road to the Stagg Bowl.  That is what will make this teams chances different!  That and the fact that they are a great team which now leads the nation in total offense and have the #1 rusher in the country!

Now you see what I was trying to tell you yesterday..  ..The road , the road . the yellow brick road..
Go Cats.

.So according to you ,  that means the #1 ranked team  is better than your #2 right now?   And WHo would that Be ?? The  Kitty football team from McMinnville.. Go Cats.. I sure wished we could run the ball like the #2.. But we will try harder from now on ;D

   Got it!

Doc,
Let's see if you can grasp this concept.  It is easier to win games when you play in an easier conference which give you a better winning record which is one of the things used to determine who make the top 25.  The WIAC has a tougher schedule (no less than 4 teams on the Top 25/Other Receiving Votes list every week this season which is half the conference) and, therefore, it is harder to win games, harder to keep a winning record, harder to crack the top 25.  You are a med student so should be bright enough to recognize the validity of this concept.  Sorry about the Doctor cracks but when you brag about it, don't be surprised when it is used against you!

Linfield is the defending National Champs and undefeated this year.  Makes them #1.  I never said it should be any other way.  I give your team its kudos!

footfan;;  Thanks I needed that...   ;D

I am sure if you are as good as you say , we will meet somewhere down the yellow brick road to the  Stagg Bowl.

Good luck .. We also have some pretty good cheese in Oregon .

  desertcat1,
The interesting question is if you can run the ball AGAINST the #2 .  UWW is #1 in rushing defense and red zone defense in the WIAC.  Would be great to find out wouldn't it?  But, UWW has some games left to win first before that becomes a possibility?  Got to earn that Golden Brick Road one game at a time!   Go Hawks!

It's tough to run the ball much more than 100yd. when you have the best  ARM  in D3...

So you're saying your offense is one-dimensional?  I think we can use that and it is footballfan413!  Don't really want me to start to butcher desertcat1, do you.  Could have lots of fun with that! :D

Kiltedrat,
I want to sincerely apolgize for my Doctor cracks.  That is usually not my style and it was a moment of emotional weakness.  Sorry!

What about UWO?  If they win out, do they have a chance to make it to the dance?

runningdevils

With the Wacky Wisconsin Conference, there are still 4 possible teams alive for the playoffs.

UWW
UWO
UWEC
UWS

It depends how the last two weeks play out and how the teams can perform on the road and at home since ea

each team since they all have a home and away game left.

You WIAC guys should be enjoying this. This is the most interesting your board has been in 3 years. You have a strong team ranked only behind the defending national champs, with some good banter coming from other top ranked teams. It's like your board suddenly came off of life support.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.
