ESPN News

If that is meant to be a correction of my post, you might want to look at how it is written in the article by D-3.com on the home page.

I believe ritz72 was trying to to tell you that the selection show is on ESPNews.

He already knew that, though, it was in his original post. :)

Forgive me oh guru of the website...I was just scanning, and though the question was what channel it was on.  Upon intensive investigation, I now realize both my errors......1- that he was asking which channel, and 2) I do make typos......

Eau Claire over Platteville
Stout over Stevens Point
Whitewater over River Falls

It is just a mix up, guys.  I wanted to know if the program is a sports news program called ESPNews on the main ESPN channel or is the program on an extended ESPN channel such as ESPN2.  After checking the internet, it appears that ESPNews is ithe name of the channel itself. Is that right?  My cable service does not get this channel so that hopefully explains my not knowing about it.  Thanks for the help anyway.

FinalScore

Picks for the final week of regular gridiron action:

LaCrosse over Oshkosh
Eau Claire over Platteville
Stout over Stevens Point  ;D
Whitewater over River Falls

Special thanks and appreciation to all Seniors about to play their final game.

You are correct.  ESPNews is it's own channel.  If you know anyone who subscribes to DirectV stop over for a visit.  ;)

La Crosse can't lose to Oshkosh, it's just not possible.  Especially at home.  Yes they will probably give up 250 on the ground but Teeples and Buswell will each have a couple picks, probably at least one for a touchdown.

Oshkosh's only chance is to have a run/pass ratio of 100/0.

Eagles finish strong, plunging themselves from all the way down the pipe back into the stagnant water of the toilet bowl.

Seniors....Thanks! Everybody else, get better for next year.

Nobody else can determine what you want from football, you have to go out and get it and display it for us on a silver platter.  Show us with a successful season next year.

Did you guys happen to see what Udubfever wrote on page 81 about the player of the year...yes someone from whitewater will win player of the year...they won the conference, but I did not know that this year's team happens to be composed of the best players to ever play in the WIAC...they should give them all a plaque? what f!#$ing planet are you on?  I am sorry if I have insulted you, but that is just nuts... I dont think you put too much thought into that post...anyone else agree with me?

trinket...

I'm not sure where your problem is in association with U-Dubs comments on the quality of players UWW has put on the field this season.
Justin Beaver leads the nation in rushing
Justin Jacobs is among the top QBs in D-3 statistically
Jim Leszczynski and Derek Stanley are the #1 receiving combination in D-3
The WW offensive line has "led the way" for the nation's top-ranked running back...

Of course their are other exellent players worthy of consideration from this conference.  The ones that I just mentioned are pretty damn good though.

I myself saw absolutely no problems with his comments.

Oshkosh  @  La Crosse  Go Titans!! Win the Plunger!!
Platteville  @  Eau Claire  UWEC
Stout  @  Stevens Point  UWSP

River Falls  @  Whitewater
Hawks don't let up now.  10-0 is right in front of you.  Send the seniors off with a great last regular season victory in the perk.  The best place to play D3 football in america

Warhawks, Warhawks, Warhawks!!!

It was a joke when I said they all deserve it, get a clue.  As Voice said, there are several players that could be picked for this honor.  Beaver, Jacobs, Jimmy L, Stanley.  You are just pissed because the Eagles laid an egg this year.  If you haven't see WW play this year you wouldn't understand my comment.  They are simply amazing.

I didn't take the comment seriously.

Personally I've never heard Beaver talk about his success without giving credit to the offensive line.  I've never heard Jacobs talk about his success without mentioning the line and receivers he has.  And I've never heard Jimmy or Derek speak of their success without mentioning Jacobs.  They all give a lot of credit to the defense too.

That's one of the things different about this team.  They all know their success is dependent on the others.

So, if it's a WHITEWATER[/color] player that wins POY what you'll hear is that player crediting the others.

Trinket4ever,
I was someone who agreed with his comment with tongue-in-cheek.  No one really believes that it should or would go to the whole team.  It was just a way to drive home the point that it would be very hard to single out just one player for POY on this team.  WW has several players that don't just rank at the top of the WIAC but also the top nationally.  Seems that the odds are pretty good that it will go to a WW player, don't you think?
