I hope that this isn't a deja vu season for uww where they run the table go 10-0 and then blow it in the first round... 1990 ring a bell.

The WW team is pretty balanced. People tend to forget the defense though. As good as the boys on O are, the D may be even better.

Picks: RF (bcuz WW doesn't need the win, this is the WIAC, nobody thinks it can happen, WW fans are already celebrating, there has been no big upset in the conference so far, I have nothing to lose, and it's fun way out on a limb), Lax, Stout, EC.
WORLD'S OLDEST FALCON FAN.

MESSAGE TO RECRUITS:  IN DOUBT? ENROLL AT STOUT. DON'T CARE? GO TO EAU CLAIRE. AT A LOSS? TRY LACROSSE. FEELIN' OUTTA JOINT? YOUR PLACE IS POINT. DON'T LIKE THE REST? DO WHAT'S BEST!

GOT BALLS? PLAY FOR THE FALLS!

Oh, the Hawks need the win alright.  An undefeated season and a top seed in the play-offs is at stake.  And they know it!

Pick summary so far:
UWEC (15) vs. Platteville (0)
Whitewater (13) vs. River Falls (2)
Stout (11) vs. UWSP (4)
Oshkosh (8) vs. UWL (7)

My picks, starting with what looks like the game of the week in this conference: I haven't figured out which UWL team is going to show up each week. I've been screwing them up all season. So, I'm going with a Titans team that ran all over my Blugolds last week. Oshkosh.

Stout over UWSP. But I have a gut feeling I'm going to get this one wrong.

Whitewater over UW River Falls. An upset here? It can't happen, can it? Nah...

And my Blugolds, and 16 seniors, go out with a win over Platteville at Carson Park, avenging last year's tough loss to the Pioneers...

Thanks to all the seniors, especially, and all the teams, too, for another entertaining season this year in the WIAC...

I may not have much to say, but I'll say it anyway.

pastprime (or anyone who wants to chime in), have you seen UWW play this year? If so, how do you think they compare to last year's La Crosse and Stevens Point. pastprime, you probably know why my comparison is to those two teams.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

This is probably going to sound real stupid but oh well.  Been out of the loop for a while in regards to the state universities... when did the confrence change from the WSUC to the WIAC??
