I just wanted to drop a line giving some respect to the WIAC on their all-conference honors.

We play Monmouth, and looking the their conference website, they have 125 players listed as 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team All-Conference!!!  Average of 13 per team!!!  That is terrible!

Looking at the WIAC, undeniably a MUCH stronger confrence than the MWC, and there is only a total of 81 awards.

Way to keep honors an honor, not a slip of paper to make someone's mommy and daddy fell good!

Oh yeah, one more thing!!!

Johnnies Rule!!! ;D

Why can't those MIAC guys stay on their own board?!

Please ask these compadres who they think is better, WW or LINFIELD.

Congratulatons to WW's Justin Jacobs for being named today as the WIAC Player of the Year.  He was one of two or three from the Warhawks (Beaver and/or Leszczynski) that could have been named the MVP without a lot of controversy.  Jacobs is only a junior which brings of the question, who was the last underclassman named the conference MVP?  On the WIAC website, I checked out the "past seasons" link that goers back through the 1998 season. All MVPs were seniors.

I also thought that we might have co-MVP's this season.  Last time that happened was in 2001 when Stevens Point's Paul Schmitt and Eau Claire's Darrell Souhrada shared the honor.

Just a shout out to Steve Tennies on being named the WIAC Max Spargar Scholar-Athlete. I know he's a team player, but it had to be tough being a senior with Schu starting in front of him.

Props out to everyone named all WIAC. Also, congratulations to Justin Jacobs on being named POY, well deserved.

DenSLA, what fun would that be. I've been talking to a bunch of WIAC guy's on the MWC and MIAC boards so whats the big deal.  We're not on here being a bunch of dicks, just some friendly bs, same as with the Monmouth guy's.  And for the record I think WW is better than Linfield. Linfields oppts. record  24-44 and WW oppts. 53-39.  There livin on last years win. Oh, and GO JOHNNIES.... ;D

Kubiak, good to see you still alive and well, kind of quite tonite on all the boards.  ;D

I would also like to offer my congrats to the all conference team, especially Jesse (Dubs) Wendt from Stout.  When was the last time a Blue Devil wide out made first team?
I may not have much to say, but I'll say it anyway.

So what's Central good at?
Back in '99 LAX played them and they torched us.  Their quarterback got healthy and was launching the ball 70 yards in the air.  Surprised the hell out of us.
WW...Dont be surprised! Whip em and whip em good, get some rest the second half and get ready for the johnnies.

And when you get to the John don't forget to pee on the toilet seat.

Lets stir up a hornets nest here.  I see Keith McMillan has picked, not Linfield, not St. Johns, but little old Whitewater to win the NCAA Division III championship next month in this week's "Around the Nation" column.  I'm sure that selection will bruise the egos of our loveable Linfield and SJU posters.  Come on - start ripping Keith for the prediction - and for god's sake, keep on ripping WW who are definitely not even in the same league as the two super-powers of D3 football.

I know UW LaCrosse was looking for games to fill their schedule this year.  I'm not a WIAC fan at all but it seems to me that they don't run from competition.  St Johns seems to play one UW team every year, why not two?

Actually, that's why Whitewater can't get a game with St. John's, because the Johnnies don't want to play two WIAC teams ... and that's straight from the horse's mouth.

Love to hear that the MIAC doesn't want to play the WIAC
