I'm looking forward to the game next Saturday and some good natured fun on the board with UWW fans. I hope I don't have to put up with a week's worth of bull**** from you.

Beaver runs for 182 yards and a touchdown in 32 carries, Jacobs has an off day but still tosses two touchdown passes and the WARHAWKS[/color] go up 24-0 before Central scores with a couple minutes left in the half.  WHITEWATER[/color] answers with ten more points and Central closes out the scoring with a touchdown with a couple minutes remaining.  

WARHAWKS[/color] defense holds the IIAC player of the year to 36 yards rushing on 16 carries and gets four turnovers.

Was at WW Central game WW's defense sure had a answer for everthing Central tried.  Good luck against St. Johns.  My only question for WW fans is what happened to "Pack the Perk" ?  Sunny day, mild for November in WI, no Badger game, cheap tickets and still no fans.  You would think Perkins Stadium would at least been half full.  From my vantage point there looked like alot of empty seats.  To be fair to WW this problem exists conference wide what does the WIAC need to do to increase attendence?

Congratulations to Whitewater.  They were clearly the better team.  The have a great defense and a great running back.  The QB is not to shabby either.   After being out gained the way we were the Dutch never quit.  If we didn't drop a couple of balls and didn't throw that pick 6 we could have pulled it out.  ( I know that there were plays if the Warhawks had made they would have had more points)  I'm not taking away from their performance.  The won fair and square.  They did however have a coulpe of gifts from the stripes too.  One long pass that the ref blew his whistle to early on that should have been a fumble and the first punt of the game when your punted had his knee on the ground on your three yard line that the ref missed.  Thats all part of the game.  The Dutch played hard and they should be proud of a season no one thought they could do.  Good luck with the Johnies and hope you go all the way.

Thought this was a really classy posting giving credit to both teams!  I only had a problem with the complaints about the stripes.  Central penalties:  6/26 yards,  UWW 11/81 yards!  Hard to claim that the stripes were with UWW.  I can think of a call on Central for a face mask that was waived off after a stripes discussion despite seeing the runningbacks head turn.  All part of the game! Central played well and the fans were really supportive of their team.  I like active fans in the stands.  UWW could use more of them!  Congrats to Cental on a great year!

I'll second the sentiment from DutchFan'04 -- Congrats to WW on a solid victory. I wasn't at the game, but it sounds as though you guys are amazing. The Dutch knew it would be a tough game going in. Anyway, best of luck with the rest of your season. Go get those Johnnies!

Your right...where were all the WW FANS!!  According to the box score they had a crappy turnout of 1,400.  That means that next week with the students home for Turkey day, they should have about 700 at the game.  That is unless St. John fans out-number WW fans.  

That have to be a downer for the WW team to be in the playoffs and have an empty stadium.  

What is going to take to get fan support not for only the WW playoff games but also the rest of the WIAC?  This is some pretty damn good football.  The games are cheap and quick (don't need a TV timeout every 1st down) and very entertaining.  Maybe they should have a big party or beer before the game and get the fans really drunk.    It works in D1.  

Come on fans get to the game and support these kids!

PS... If every WW player parent came 100 (on rooster) x 3 (the average parents they have with divorces) and a couple brothers, sisters and grand parents that would be at least 500 fans alone.
