To correct my previous post, the tarp was laid down following practice last (Wednesday) night before mother nature dropped a couple of inches of snow on us.  Happy Thanksgiving to you all, especially our good natured St. John's fans.

to correct my previous post, which was a correction of my original post, the tarp was laid down following TUESDAY NIGHT'S PRACTICE.
I could say I'm just trying to pad my post numbers, but actually it is because I am getting senile in my old age!

If RF and Platteville played in the MIAC, they would have finished third and fourth, respectively, this season. That's the difference between the MIAC and the WIAC.

Wow, a lower tiered team in you conference would be a 2nd tier team in ours...

WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!

I TAKE THAT BACK!!

I'd have a couple more teams in the conference beating Plattville-----They are brutal!!

Falcon,

We are not going to settle this era old debate.  Its been the same.....WIAC is better, they beat up on each other all year, that is why they run out of gas in the playoffs, our bad teams can beat your bads teams, yada-yada-yada...

Duff makes a good point, who gives a rat's ass who would finish 3rd or 4th in our conference OR yours.

I commend WW for running the table this year in the WIAC.  That's a great season.  However, as I have stated many times, great teams HAVE to run the table to get respect.  Yeah, the WIAC may have more parady than other conferences, but the cream needs to rise.  WW did that this year.

Ritz, did you mean "parity" or "parody".  It's actually a funny typo when you think about it...

Don't know if this has been posted yet here, but UWW game notes are up.

Great picture of Perkins on the UWW Playoffs Page.  I hope it looks like this on Saturday!

Well, that's your opinion.

"Opinions are like assholes everybody's got at least one and most stink."

What rationale you have for this statement, one will never know. It appears you're "ignoring everyone's stats but your own."

There is now way RF and Platteville beat out Bethel or St. Olaf in the MIAC and they wouldn't even come close to Concordia. I'd believe that they might be 5th and 6th, but not 3rd and 4th.
RF doesn't even have a passing game! They had at least one game this year where they didn't even complete a pass! Most MIAC defenses are smart enough to figure out tendencies especially that strong and stop them.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Gee I guess all the other teams in the WIAC are "stupid" year after year... no kidding UWRF doesn't pass at all they run the wish bone or some form of it. Their O-linemen come out in a four point stance all of them are abour 5' 10" and about 270 lbs  they want you to put 9 in the box on every play because they still will get 3-4 yards on every play unless your defense is able to stick to their responsibilities (fullback, QB, pitchman)  and once in a while they will throw a pass not very often but once in a while... just to keep you honest.
I can tell you have never played against them by the statement you have made and wonder if you have played the game at all.

Whoa that didn't sound very nice sorry having a bad day didn't mean it to sound like that KR. ;)

Ask Pacific Lutheran how defending the one-dimensional UWRF offense worked out for them.

That's because they no longer have Frosty.

Pat, you seem very "WIACish" lately.  Or maybe you just like to be the devil's advocate?

Despite teams knowing that the only thing RF can do is run the ball and planning accordingly the Falcon still managed a respectable 285 yards a game on the ground.  That ranked them 7th nationally.   They had a huge line and Nathan Anderson is a bruising runner.

It isn't as easy as simply knowing they are going to run.
