I travel up last year to watch the Linfield Rowan game. It was supposed to rain and the Profs were supposed to play smash mouth with the Cats. The rain stopped for the game and the Cats layed a number on Rowan and then the rain started up again. See you up there. Safe travels all.

Nevermind the fact that it's Oregon and the Cats, believe it or not are used to playing (and winning) in the rain....   8)

Oh, and one more final thing.  I hear it is going to be raining!  Makes it harder to pass the ball.

....Wait....it rains in Oregon?  I've been trying to figure out what that stuff is that is always coming out of the sky.

I would be more concerned for the Linfield passing attack if it's windy than raining.

MonroviaCat

I'd be more concerned about the cats passing attack it was warm, sunny, and dry....they'd be too excited for the great weather that they might not know what to do with themselves!!!!   ;)

My ultra-secret, super-inside, know-it-all, lead pipe lock, basically all-knowing source told me that Elliot will pass for 567 yards if it rains.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Let me see. Pat was upset that a Stout broadcaster was such a homer that he refused to listen to the game. Now, one of his columists is all of a sudden a big Linfield homer?

So don't read his posts. Not the same as being a homer on the air or in the column itself.

Stoutguy, if I recall correctly, I didn't say you as a person made the statement. I didn't respond to your e-mail because it came like four weeks after the broadcast and I had more important things to do, like get ready for the playoffs and the start of basketball seasons.

Spirit:  I just talked with Coach Locey and he has told me that the rain is forcing him to go to the double TE Wishbone formation. BE is going to sit this one out as he doesn't run the option too well....Darn that Oregon weather....who would have thought it would rain, in December, in the Pacific Northwest.......wel, at least the Cats got this far......better luck next year I guess....... :-\

It will be great to have the Warhawks in Wildcat country this Saturday.  I spent several vacations over the years at beautiful Green Lake, Wisc and have many fond memories of the place.  I just love your state though I have not experienced it in the winter.  We can't offer you the great weather I had in Wisc in the summer but we can promise to give you a great game.

What could be better than the batttle of the #1 and #2 rated D3 Titans?  Welcome to Oregon.
