Warhawks,

The only way the 'Cats lose this game is if they turn the rock over.  If they do lose, I'll be here to eat my crow but it's not going to happen.

Good year for the Warhawks but it comes to an end tomorrow.

Warhawk...... I like your optimism....  If the Warhawks pull off the upset... we'll all be back on here giving you guys your props and wishing you well.  BUT, as far as "all this talk sounds familiar" ... tell me about it.  WIAC this and WIAC that... balanced attack.... smash mouth.... speed... bla bla bla

An earlier poster made a great point.... The cobbers controlled the ball with their running game and kept us off the field... and unless we turn the ball over 8 times like the Johnies did.... you guys will all see (or hear) how Three3's was flat out wrong..... We win by at least 2 scores.

Finally the statement I've been trying to put into words all week:

"unless they turn the rock over" the cats will win.  That really does sum it up.  If both teams play mistake free football, Cats win.  That's what I believe.  ESPN released an NFL stat this week which I believe applies to this game.  In the NFL, the team that turned the ball over less than their opponent in a game wins that game 81% of the time.  If the Cats do what they do last week AND UWW does what they did last week.....Warhawks win.  BUT, these CATS are not the Johnnies (in so many ways I don't have enough fingers and toes to count them...) NOR are the Warhawks the Cobbers.  IT's a whole new ballgame and I hope it is good because whoever wins wants to win because they played a great game NOT because the other team played a crappy game.

Go Cats!

UDub Fever

Im sick of hearing the Cats talk about how they are going to blow WW out of the water.  The fact of the matter is..........can the Cats play well in the water.  Looks like it might be a rainy game.  This is the national championship game, featuring two fine football teams.  Good luck to all...........but I hope WW knocks the socks off those Cats.

for some reason i dont think that the rain is gonna be a problem, since they do play in Oregon, now if it is rainy and really windy that might have an effect.  But I feel taht if both teams play mistake free the game will come down to the last poss..  and whoever has the ball will win. GO HAWKS

Can the 'Cats play well in the water?
This is freakin' Oregon! Do you know how much it rains here?
You play in the snow, we play in the rain.

The majority of us posted after the game and gave you props for the win.  Our posting has just tapered off because it's not as fun to trash talk when your team is not involved.

My feelings, Linfield is too much for the Warhawks.

Another thought on the rain.  If it is rainy and windy and the Cat's passing game is shut down, then the Warhawks passing game is also going to be shut down which means that they're plan of running the ball and mixing it up with play action will be shot which means the cats can key on the beaver all day long.  True the cats haven't run the ball a lot this year but their line and their backs are capable of doing it.  Hmm.....wouldn't that be something if the WIND (cause the rain won't stop em) turned this into a running battle.......
Go Cats!
