All of you Cat fans humor me for a sec. Do you think if you had a normal D3 football QB you would stand a chance against a dominate WW?

Tuxguy

3's, lets look at it this way.....

1999-2003....Linfield=many playoff games

1999-2003....UW-W= 0 playoff games

Questions?

answer....Yes
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Ummm yes, our backup is better then your starter. Besides, what is this crap about a normal d3 qb? We have a great qb who happened to transfer to our program. And every one else is pissed.

Tuxguy-
It's a trick question......WW has never had a dominate team since the Cats have been in D3. We've been too busy being in 4 consec West Region finals.

33s-you're setting yourself up to eat crow tomorrow.  When the Cats win by 24, you can say that we have a ringer at QB.

Tuxguy, you're not answering 3's question?  You made reference to previous years, and that's not really the point.  I believe that his point was, do you think Linfield would stand a chance THIS YEAR against a dominate UWW team?

Referring to the past doesn't settle this score.

Against a DOMINANT Whitewater, maybe not.  But against you guys.... hell yes!

Three3,

Fair Question.   I would have to say that Linfield's chances would still be great considering the QB before Elliott (Ty Matthews) was an All-American also.

Yeah BAby,

The Smack is being thrown down now...  Love it how the day before gameday the gloves are off and the niceness ends.   :D  Gotta love the way people will argue fervently about a game that in all liklihood will be a hard fought victory for the winning team (which of course will be the CATS).....

Go Cats!

you know thats great and all but guess what its 2005... who cares

good god I'm away from this board for 4 days and my karma just gets hammered

MonroviaCat

Right, this is 2005 and the Cats do have Brett Elliot at Quarterback so the whole stupid question is pointless.  We won't know what the CATS would be like without Elliot just like we don't know what UWW would be like without the Beaver.  Gotta live in the now and play the cards dealt to you.  Linfield has a nice hand and tomorrow (in about 20 hours) we'll see who wins!
Go Cats!

kubiack78,

Next time read the whole Question!
