I'll just call up Coach Brez and tell him they don't need to play the game, because UWW can't cover your WR or contain your QB, and his offensive line can't block your front four.  I'll just tell him better luck next year, maybe you wont have to play Wesley.

I hate to say it but I don't think he will listen to someone who reads post patterns, maybe UWW can shock the world for one more week.  Just a side note UWW has also won big games as underdogs.

But I'll give him a call, but you should just phone it in.

Shock would be if Wesley wins...

weather report ?

In snow don't you (of course you do!) WW fans think whks can get it done with your runner, the tight end, #7 to keep 'em honest, and another D all-out effort?

from what i have been hearing its supposed to be in the 30's with a possibility of some flurries, and i wouldnt be surprised if the field gets messy this week because the i believe the top couple inches will melt and soften up and it might turn into a mud bowl.

We seem to have a lot of confident posters in here on behalf of Wesley.  I am surprised I thought you guys might be talking S**t like St. Johns and Linfield  ;). It looks like this is the same as every other week, except those teams had something to brag about.  Those 20...something odd sacks that Robinson has is a sign of how week your competitions is all year.  Not to say that the kid isn't good but that is a lot of sacks for one man to have.  The week before St. John played us one of their DE had 7 1/2 sacks; against us he may have had one.  Now if your team was traveling to WW with Elliot as your QB then maybe I would worry about the 600 yds we almost gave up last wk.  But since you're not how about we look at what our D has done to other QB's. We rank 27th after the St. Johns game and 22nd before in passing Efficiency.  Our D has not allowed a 100 yd rusher all yr, so there goes Nelsons few yds.  I would hope that your QB can wrestle up some magic before he comes to Perkins Stadium, it would give you guys a better chance.

Dedragon,
Check out warhawkfootball.com.  From that website you should be able to gather everything you want to know about UWW's offense and defense.

Does anyone know if the field goal posts at UWW have ever come down?

Retired Old Rat

CaptainKurt,

I would strongly advise against that.  A kid at U of Minnesota Morris was killed this past fall while attempting to do so.

Don't give anyone any ideas. There was an incident earlier this year.

A tarp has covered UWW's Perkins Stadium since Monday afternoon. Today a nationally known company based out of Tampa was brought in to place several furnace type blowers around the field.  They will blow hot air under the tarp to take about 2 inches of frost out of the ground.  A number of stadiums use this companies services including Michigan State University. By the way, the furnace type blowers are fueled by propane gas.
Not a bad set up for a D3 school.  As I understand it, the NCAA will pick up the cost much like when helicopters were brought in to dry out UWW's baseball field during a regional tournament a couple of years ago.
By the way, the NCAA did not pay Coach Berezoowitz when he lit the baselines a fire to dry them out!

Okay, to everyone interested in taking down the FG posts after UWW wins this weekend, please borrow a helmet from any of the UWW players before we do this.  I do remember the Minnesota-Morris student who died.  I believe he was a basketball player there... may he rest in peace.  God, I don't want to encourage anything that significantly promotes a higher death rate.  But at the same time, enjoy yourselves on Saturday everyone.

Brez can add the cost of the FG post to my tab.  I think I still owe him half a grand for the trip to the Chicago Rush game.  I'm good for it.  I'll true up with him in a few years.
