Also I am going to be off this nice little chat forum for a good month and a half.

Ah, another poster giving this up for Lent.  It does a body good to see people still taking Lent so seriously. 8)

UW-L released the schedule yesterday. They open at SDSU Sept. 2nd, have two open slots and then travel to Azusa Pacific for an evening game on Sept. 23rd.

They open WIAC play at Stevens Point. 6 road games and 3 home games. It sure would be nice to get some D3 competition at home during the 2nd or 3rd week and play at least 10 games.

10 scheduled games is the max, so the "at least" part of that doesn't make much sense. But I see your point about an uneven schdule. 6 on the road stinks.

I got a fever, and the only cure is, no more O'Reilly.  And can I get some feedback on the "UW-Zero" comment.  You've got to be dry-humping me with that comment.  What a dildo!!

Yeah, I was going for at least one more home game to fill out the schedule. Unless they get one more, that'll make 16 road games and 10 home games over 3 seasons.

WSUFan,
That's called respect my friend.  No one wants to play you, either Division II or Division III schools.  Why?  The Eagles kick that ass, that's why.  Especially at home at the Rog.  It really comes as no suprise to me that you can only get a 9-game schedule that includes traveling all over the continental U.S. just to play non-conference road games.  Unfortunately for you, and the WIAC, the selection committee only looks at regional games as far as getting into the playoffs is concerned.  What the hell are you suppose to do when no one will play you?

Much respect.  Get that dirt off your shoulder.

I don't want to start anything but with LaCrosse searching for an extra game and St Johns wanting to play another WIAC team it seems like it would have been a natural fit.  Plus St Johns scheduled River Falls the second week when LaCrosse had an open date and would have been available as an opponent.  Oh well, whatever.

That would be awesome.  They'd sell some tickets for that game.  I'd love to see it happen

CaptainKurt

Don't you guys know that this board is all that I really do all day at work?  If there's nothing to read on this board, then I have bad days at work.  Help me out and give me something to read.  Hey O'Reilly, can you explain how the first amendment works again?

Oh Kart,

How we would all love to be entertained by that loveable giant.

Who is going to challenge the hawks this year the most?

And what is the outlook for the Franklin Outlaws?

janesvilleflash

1 for 27====Oshkosh will challenge WW along with good ole LAX.

My money is on the outlaws being above 500 or better. I am one of the sponsors and I'm expecting big things from you and captain along with the 230 pound running back. (are we sure it isn't 250 by now?)

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

I agree that UWO and good ole lax will still compete, however you can't forget about those pesky pointers.  I think lax is still down I mean there starting LB was a scout teamer for the hawks, doesn't say much about there D.  UWO is my pick to click next year, I think they are going to turn some heads.  Go Hawks!!!

Is EC a 500 team with a new coach?  Could River Falls be a surprise with all those returning players?
