Well with 84 recruits going to whitewater what is 2 more?  Hope Brez has enough gear to out fit 150+ guys.  To bad we aren't like carthage or we would keep them all. hahaha.

Kurt,

The Booker Stanley one is.

Booker Stanley will not play for the WARHAWKS next year or any other year for that matter.  Despite what the article implies I can tell you for certain that it isn't going to happen.   Lately I've heard that he is considering a JuCo somewhere in Illinois.

This was the first I have heard about Freeman wanting to transfer however.

I am not sure how the Booker Stanley thing can just be a rumor.Especially if Brezowitz hasn't talked to him at all about it.
However the article was a little screwed up as the WFAC shrine game is not held at UW Whitewater it is has been held at UW Oshkosh home of the titans except for maybe six years four were they tried it at Camp Randall, and then two while Titan stadium was being worked one.
However teh reporter os retty good at what he does, and I'll let the one mistake he made slip this time.
I guess we will find out if both Booker Stanley and Antonio Freeman are going to be Warhawks in August when the Warhawks defend their title.

The east team in the Shrine game practices in WHITEWATER that's probably where the confusion came in.

I'll bet you as many cases of beer as you would like to lose that Booker Stanley will never wear a WARHAWK uniform.   Are we on?  If so, how how many cases? :D

Mr. Badgerwarhawk,
Watch your step with who you are betting with.  Look at how many words were spelled wrong and how many posts he currently has.  CSI CaptainKurt may have solved this one.  That sounds like someone oh so familiar.

However,  I could be wrong here and would owe someone an apology.  Furthermore, I doubt that I'm wrong.

Badger-
Obviously you know quite a bit about the UWW program from reading your posts.  I was just wondering if you are positive that there is no truth to the BS transfer rumor or if it is just very unlikely?

Where was Freeman on the Badger depth chart?  Isn't D-Back about the only need for WW?

Yes, a player can transfer from D1 to D3 so he could play at WHITEWATER but it isn't going to happen.   He's carrying way too much baggage and there has already been contact between the two parties and a decision made.  Warhawkbadger, nice, is mistaken about the open arms thing.

Badgerwarhawk,

I don't doubt your information on Booker Stanley, but you had previosuly indicated that he had spoken to the coaching staff.  In this article Brez says he's had no contact.  What's up?

A question to ask about either Booker Stanley or Antonio Freeman is whether either student is still academically eligible at Madison. A UW-System school will not accept a student if they are not in academic good-standing at their previous school.  I have no idea if either is or isn't currently eligible.

Captain Kurt,
Your wrong on who you think that guy is because it's not me.However your rarely ever wrong, and therefore it's okay. Not to mention I hate UW Oshkosh more then anyone in the league. They make Lacrosse look like angels.
I personally don't think that either of them will end up at Whitewater. Why would coach Brez want any trouble or potential trouble going into his last season? A season which the Warhawks win the WIAC title again and have them in the Stagg bowl for the second year in a row, with the results different this year.
I just don't see that happening this year. If either of them land in a warhawk uniform it woud be freman as he is a corner back and the warhawks lost their corners to graduation this past year.
As afr as Badgerwarhawks knowledge of the program he is the man. However according to Brez and the article he the head coach has never talked to Mr. Stanley.
I think we will all find out more come August when the Warhawks begin defending their title from last year.Something I expect them to win again,as they have all but fur starts back from last years teAm. The situation couldn't be more perfect for a national title season again.

Voice,
It did state in the Journal-Sentinel article that "Both Stanley and Freeman remain enrolled at UW."

This would leave me to believe that if they complete this spring semester in good standing, then both would be academically elgible to transfer, provided that everything else checks out.
