You have some bogus information BF. To keep a good kid's name from being smeared in a public forum like this I checked it out for you.

Wendt was in a brief altercation that didn't amount to anything. Some drunk guy tried to call him out. There was certainly no arrest involved.

The friend of your son should get his facts straight before starting up false rumors.

Come on, Bob, nothing ruins most good rumors like the facts.  ;)

Interestingly enough, the post came from on campus.

Well, that is interesting.

Either BF's 2 year old son has a 21 year old friend, or BF himself is a college student wanting to spread rumors.

I am sooo glad you went after him.  I was going to but you were in a much better position than I to handle it!!  Posting BS like that on here is unacceptable!!!

Let's not all be hipocrits about this.  It wasn't too long ago when some Whitewater players got into very minor incidents with the police and it was the talk of the board for a while.  Although I'm not defending BobFalls orginal comments or his source of info, he heard something from his son and he went with it.  He did not smear Wendt's name in disgrace.  He was only asking for someone with credible information.  BFD.

BDB

CK, When you spread a rumor that is false, that you heard from a 3rd party, in a public place like this site, using someone's name, many would think that is a BFD.

If BF really wanted some info he could have sent a PM to a known Stout person on this board.

The fact that the post came from the Stout campus makes me question whether BF heard the rumor from his "son" to begin with.

I remember the talk about the WW players that you mentioned. That was bogus as well.

Come on, Captain.  I was not happy when UWW player's private business was pasted all over this board and as I recall, neither was alot of the posters, especially considering the suspected source.  ;)  I don't feel this board should be used to broadcast any difficulties that players may have in their private lives off the field.  I understand that it is going to happen especially in instances where off-field issues affect whether a player is eligible to play or not but until that happens, it is nobody's business IMHO.  Pat established that BF's story of how he heard the info doesn't ring true so his motives are suspect at best.  "He was only asking for credible info"......pick up the phone if it was so important for him to know.......don't spread rumors on a public forum.......

You're still my favorite Captain, however, after Captain Kirk, of course!!! :-* :-*

What caught my attention was the fact it was BF's first post on this website.  It just seemed like an odd first post.  Then learning it came from the campus added an intriquing twist.   Perhaps BF is an employee who has access to a computer on campus and has a son who has a friend and so forth.    lol

Anyway, I'm just glad he didn't say that he heard  Booker Stanley was transfering to WHITEWATER[/color].   There's a horse that's been beaten to death.  ;):D

FootballFan,  it's Captain Kangeroo, Captain Kirk, Captain Kurt.
