Why no comments about the behaviour of some of the UWW Students at football games. I thought sportsmanship was one of the Mainstays of D3Sorts. I do not dislike UWW, I attended my first two years of College and was in The Marching and Pep Bands. I got a foundation for my 2 degrees at UWPI just think if you want to be a champion Students should start acting like it. Also, several UWW bloggers were happy that so many UWL players were hurt .  I do not think this reflects the general sentiment of most adult, non students fans of UWW, but it should have been condemned from someone at your school besides me. I still believe we have a chance to win, despite the massive response to my views. God Bless you all, including the UWW Students who attend Football games!

Does anyone but me find the "God Bless everyone," comments a little hypocritical when used in every post after dissing someone?   ;)

Congratulations to the Warhawks again!!!

The comments on the strengths of the team are right on the money.  The defense and the kicking game are stronger thatn they were last year, and the offensive line will be as effective as it has been no matter who is running the ball.

Credit to the La Cross team, they never gave up and the fans and students should be proud of them.  Let's hope that they can look back at the end of the season and claim to have been defeated by the National Champions!!

UWPSUPERFAN77- College students, homecoming, drinking, bad behavior. What's new about that at ANY school, and who cares as long as no one gets hurt?
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Thanks to D3football.com's crew for being on-site for Saturday's UW-La Crosse at UW-Whitewater game. Watching the game, and then reading Keith McMillan's running blog (as opposed to a passing blog) of the game was facinating.  I also enjoyed the banter with Keith on the sideline during the second quarter.  Also enjoyed chatting with Ryan Coleman.  Ryan along with fellow D3football.com photographers Larry Radloff and Dave Sanders had the stadium covered from field level and high above the packed "Perk." I sure hope Warhawk and Eagle fans check out the D3football.com's photos on-line.  Looking forward to seeing you at the Mary Hardin-Baylor game in a couple of weeks and hopefully somewhere down the line this season.

I actually had a conversation about this very thing with someone yesterday!  The "God Bless," thing I mean.  Not the kids behavior.

K-Mack.  I think you helped make my point regarding stadiums rather than contradict it. Since my exposure to DIII stadiums is much more limited than yours, I will defer to your store of knowledge. My point in refering to the SI "accolade" was because I knew about it and had no other specific to cite. I think you put it better than I did, however.

Congratulations on the win. Finally!! Got past that last  minute melt-down.

Wow WW takes a hit at RB but from what I saw at Eau Claire they have a pretty decent RB waiting in the wings. Can't remember his number but he looked pretty quick. There are way too many weapons there to be counting them out just yet.

Listened a little to the Big 880 on Saturday on the way to Collegeville but ran out of coverage.

Hope all is well.

I haven't seen the other "Bobby" of Bob & Steves yet but I think maybe this Thursday. I'll send him your best.
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Raider, yeah it was a nice win for the Devils. We all needed it!  ;)

The game was still in doubt at the final gun with Eau Claire throwing it into the end zone for a chance to tie. All 6 games this year have been meat grinders. :P

Now a drive through the woods to the River for the winds of Ramer Field. The Falcons got their win on against Point so I am sure they'll be ready. They always are.

The post game at the Stout Ale House was a party, and funny, a lot more people were there then when we lost those barnburners.  >:(

Voice,
I was at "Pack the Perk" it was nice seeing close to 10,000 people enjoy D3 Football at its best.  Congrats to WW on a great win.  I hope that LaX or who ever places 2nd in the WIAC gets a NCAA playoff bid.  Is there any truth to the rumor that Ketterhagen Motor Sales is offering a Double or Nothing challenge to any winner of "Punt, Pass & Kick" if they can beat you in a race around the field?  Now that would be entertaining.

Thank You Janesville flash. You are a great fan. If I am critical in some of my postings, I am sorry. I say God Bless you because I do wish a Blessing on all of you. I also do not hide the source of my value system, a relationship with Jesus Christ.God bless you all!

Palum,

I would probably be able to run around the field about as well as most of our punt, pass and kick contestants attempt kicking the field goal for the Five - Thousand - Dollars.  Of course I'm not a marathon runner like some Platteville alumni are on this message board!

Hi all, first-time poster...

Tough break for UWW and Beaver.  However, I have no doubt in my mind that this injury does NOT signify the end of UWW's offensive production.  All the other weapons will step up and continue to perform well, and more importantly, the O line will continue to open gaping holes for the next guy to run through.  No offense to Beaver and his athletic talent, but I think most of the other running backs in this conference could do well behind UWW's big uglies.

Helloooooo, people who can open holes like they do are NOT uglies.  They are BEAUTIFUL in their own special way,  for without them, there is damn little scoring.  Backfields should always make sure that their O-Lines are happy, happy guys.  It's better for everybody concerned, except for the Defense they're playing against, of course. ;D ;D ;D.  Go Ooooooooooosssss!!!Just my 2 brownies worth.  But then Justin and the guys have had my brownies last time they were down at the Stagg.  I'll have some this year for them as well.  Hope they can come and collect!!!  (And this time AJ you won't have to go to the post office to get them, I promise.)
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

Mom, "big uglies" is how John Madden refers to linemen.
