You have to keep in mind the fact that Superfan is from Platteville where the students only drink milk.  So this heavy drinking he witnesses elsewhere is something outside his frame of reference.

They like to have cookies with it too. ;)

Superfan, I take it you weren't one of those Carl Rodgers Client Centered social workers. ;)

badgerwarhawk,

the milk drinkin problem in pville is no laughin matter ... coaches are constantly on kids about drinkin too much milk ... the school offers free milkaholic anonymous classes to help kids kick the moo juice .. most kids get started on the skim and it isnt long before they are experimenting with whole only to be sneakin on to farms late at nite steal the delicious 3.5% straight from the cow ... its a serious problem ... the city of pville is lookin to get federal agents involved to curve the addiction ... and yes your right ... the students love to have cookies with the milk ... there is an underground market for the cookies with extra chocolate chips ... local police feel that much of this activity stems from the catacombs under the world largest "M" .. which ironically was never created for the Mining school that pville once was .. its was created by the Milk mafia back in the 50's for MILK!!!

Pioneers ... Pioneers ... Pioneers

p.s. - go easy on superfan and each other ... it takes all kinds to make a world ... that includes christians, drunk college students, and milk junkies

Yes, that is a serious problem, Ralph.  I hope the locals can get a handle on it before the dairy comes out with that new 4% product line.

RalphE- That may well be the best post I've seen on here.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

I will call an end to this topic, for now. I am dead serious about the abusive behaviour of fans at D3 sports. Lets not ruin the Joy of the  Game. I go to games for FUN! I do not go be abusive or be abused. God Bless!

"What sets Justin Beaver apart from the 99.9 percent of other running backs in D3 competition is his heart"
Voice no one was or has questioned his heart. And he has probably ran the play that he got hurt on about 1000x's.
However also none of us know all the running backs in division three football. So we don't know what type of heart that all the other RB's have and making a comment like that is nuts. Unless you have interviewed every RB in all of Division three football. I know you're good at what you do, but I don't think you have done that yet.

So I would ask this question again after Saturday and after the Warhawks beat the Pioneers, with another dominating performance by the best dam defense in division three football.

Umm, did you forget to read your own advice to voice.  Let me ask you.  Have you seen every defense in Divsion III football?  Can you point to one defensive statistical category that UWW leads the nation in?

Number of purple helmets with W's on them on the field. Rumor has it the UWW offense shares this statistic.  ;D
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Good grief.  Go away for a day and a prayer meeting and beer/milk drunkfest breaks out!

IAm just wondering what exactly did the student section say to you that was abusive. Did they say anything to you personally? No they were paying attention to the game voicing their opinion. Believe it or not there was a time when students at UWW did not come to the games. However that changed two years ago, as the games were actually fun to attend.
It has gotten better with the signs of the super fan known as UDubDub. Newsflash almost over all college kids drink whether they are 21 or not. Most student sections yell and swear when they don't like the calls made by the referees,(except in Nebraska) and no one really cares if you think it's abusive, because they are not attacking you personally.
So enough about the fans and all this other crap not related to football. Let's just talk football and remember that we have the greatest division three football conference in all of division three to cheer for, and the WARHAWKS are going to win this Saturday and the rest of them as well. Until they say they can't play anymore.

Remember UWW and UWP playing UWO this year. UWW scores 17,97 yards on 1 play for a touchdown. UWP score 21 against UWO. We also scored 21 against Lacrosse.  You played an injured UWL team. I heard a number of your players were also hurt against Lacrosse.. I am sorry for their injuries. I think our team is Healthier!. Going to be cold, rainy, and windy on Saturday. We are a strong 4th quarter Team, It gets cold in the 4th quarter when your team gets tired. Ask UWO and UWStout. WE beat you in 2001 and 2004, not bad against your juggernaut! You may be more talented, but you are not tougher. We are not intimidated by you .Bring your A game or go home with a digit on the left side. Good luck, God Bless you, and may the best team on this day win!

footballfan413

Don't think the cold will be a factor for a team that played last year until almost Christmas including a 58-6 rout in the National Semi-Finals in the middle of a snowstorm but take your solace where you can find it!!!    ;D ;D ;D
