Maybe UWW can borrow some of those 2" cleats from Mount Union.  Raider Guy, can you hook them up? ;D

Actually, just looking for the turf shoes that seem to work best on frozen ground and in the snow.   Learned that from the Wesley game last year.   ;D

A little bit off the topics here, but why did UW-Superior drop football?

They were severely lacking in the three F's:  funds, fans and facilities.

Is that a grass field in River Falls?

Yes.... but I would call it more of a cow pasture

If I remember correctly they also had roster problems as they were down to about 30 players that season.

Interestingly the league did have a provision which stated all of the members in the WIAC had to have a football team but it was waived in Superior's case.

Make that four F's:  funds, fans, facilites and football players.

LAXLB. I'm the self appointed English guardian here. Please learn the difference between there  -  their.. -  and for that matter they're.

Also from another board you seem to think that "are" means "belonging to us" which should be OUR. Are is the plural for IS

Thanks for you're imput.... I'll be sure to review my gramar when it's required.   Like work related emails, formal proposals, or when I'm posting short little tid-bits on this message board.  I'm very impressed you took time out from pumping gas to check my posting.  Thanks and could you check under the hood.

LAXLB,

Hilarious call out.  Anyway, I see you got your question answered about the NFL players, but, lets not forget the WIAC puts a lot of guys in Arena Ball, oversees, etc.   Derrick Levake out of WW played for NFL Europe's Amsterdam Admirals for several years.  Unertl was on the Chicago Rush last year.  The list goes on.

I think somebody touched on this earlier, but, I was sad to see the option go up in River Falls.  It always amazed me how they could look so bad in pads, but, run that dang thing so effectively.

They beat us twice and no I'm not bitter  ;)
