Whitewater still leads 41-10.
RF at WW 31 after starting at their own 2.
RF still playing hard, WW not showing a lot of toughness according to announcers.
Under 10  min to go.

Victory formation for La Crosse.

What happens now with St. John's/La Crosse?

Both in? I'm a bit new to criteria

BoBo

Bethel should get the automatic bid and higher seed in the MIAC.  Wartburg loses in OT and are probably out now.  St. Norbert is a likely WW opponent.  The Eagles may be a #3 seed with home game, possibly SJU.  Wouldn't that be fun!!

Final -
UWEC 21, Platteville 7

Blugolds held a 7-0 lead at half, and the Pioneers were driving the ball all over the field in the second half. But the Blugolds' D forces three turnovers to halt them, capitalizing on two for scores....

Pioneers, going in to tie it at 7-7, had a fumble inside the red zone, recovered by the 'Golds. They went on a 90-yard drive, to go up 14-0 instead, with the TD coming on a 35-yard pass play, Paulson to Hull.

Next possession, Pioneers driving again, an INT, which the 'Golds were able to generate another TD off of. 21-0.

Pioneers were able to score, though, and were on the move again, but another INT iced the game for the 'Golds...

Pioneers' sophomore running back Mike Genslinger needed 60-some yards to go over the 1,000-yard rushing mark. He finished with enough yardage to do so, and scored the lone TD...

Blugolds' other two TDs were short-yardage runs by Cory Sartorelli and Eddy Kaiser, if my memory serves me correctly...

Falcons forced to throw 29 times, something they have not done for 30 years or so, bcuz running attack stifled by WW  D. WW sluggish first quarter, but blistered Falcons 2nd quarter. Except for that period, RF competed fairly well. WW will have to be sharper than that in playoffs to advance beyond first round.

Met and welcomed Sakman 1111 and friends at local bar b4 game.

Best of luck to WW in playoffs.

Point beats Stout 20-19 to win their last four games of the season and finish alone in third place.

Point led 20-10 at the half, and 20-17 with a little under 2 minutes remaining.  Backed up to their own 1-yard line on fourth down, the Pointers opted to take an intentional safety.  Stout took over with 1:44 to play, but couldn't generate a first down.

A remarkable turnaround for the Pointers who went from 0-3 to 4-3.  The Pointers overall record was 6-4 with 3 losses to teams that in the Top 10.  Hopefully, it's a sign of good things for next year's Pointer team.

Just back from the frozen north.....Sloppy game against River Falls but a big victory. 10-0 two years in a row. There ain't much fight left in that dog. Bethel knows their place in the MIAC, which is just like when they were kids, looking for the New York Strip and settling for Vets canned dogfood & telling themselves it's almost the same because it's all in the "meat" group .

LOL..... The loss projects the Johnnies to fall to 7th in the West.
